The first time I came here was just to use the washroom. The staff was nice enough to let me use it without buying anything. After that good first impression, I decided to come back. As a student in Vancouver, I was looking for a budget-friendly option on the menu, and I definitely found one—the Ginger Chilli Tomato soup in a cup for 5 dollars is such a great deal. They offer bread on the side, which tastes amazing, especially when they pop it on the grill for a few moments...
We discovered this place a couple years after it opened in 2015. It was only “Tractor” back then. Loved the wide selection of healthy salads and soup. We just got back from 2 yrs of traveling and visited again for a quick lunch. Something seemed a little off? Salad seemed a little bland but the sandwiches and soups were still good. Portions could have been a little bit bigger. The staff vibe was different as well. Too bad prices for simple salads and sandwiches all went up...
I want to sincerely thank Clare Ruane, the manager at Tractor Foods, along with her amazing team. Their customer service is truly exceptional. I had an issue with the delivery setup, and despite the short notice, they immediately looked for a solution and went above and beyond to help me. I'm incredibly grateful for their responsiveness and kindness.
