I gave Tractor a try, expecting a fresh and healthy meal, but I was disappointed. Despite their branding as a "healthy" restaurant, the food quality and ingredients don’t always live up to the hype. Some dishes feel overly processed, lack freshness, and are often overpriced for what you get.
On top of that, they don’t accept cash, which is frustrating, stupid, and unnecessary. Not everyone wants to pay with a card, and this policy feels exclusionary. A business should accommodate all customers, not just those who use digital payments.
Overall, Tractor is more about marketing than delivering genuinely healthy, high-quality meals. There are better, more affordable options in Vancouver if you’re looking for real, nutritious food.

It's so overpriced for what it is. The beef stew isn't even stew, it's like 7 tiny bits of beef in a bit of liquid that is almost completely absorbed by the tons of rice they put it on.

Braised beef food is tasteless.
Avo + chicken also has tasteless meat, but bread is good.
Kid-friendliness: Has two high chairs.

Smallest portion ever for almost $20/bowl. 1/2 chicken is really only 3-4 bites.
I used to eat at Tractor fairly frequently at the Kits location. Today at the Quebec St location I ordered the original chicken sandwich and was incredibly disappointed with the changes they’ve made to this sandwich. I remember when the sandwich was much thicker and had cranberry bread many years ago. Today I was presented with a very thin overpriced sandwich that had barely anything in it…waste of money.

I've been a loyal customer at your Quebec St. location since it first opened. I truly enjoy the atmosphere, food, and the friendly staff who always make my visits pleasant. However, I’ve noticed a recurring issue that has started to affect my experience. When I order a nourish bowl with greens, I've observed that the portions of the sides are being measured out with a scale, resulting in noticeably smaller servings. It feels like the ingredients are being rationed as though they are extremely expensive. This comes across as stingy, especially compared to my experiences at other Tractor locations where the sides are more generously served. I understand the need for portion control, but this level of precision feels excessive and detracts from the overall experience.

From the moment you step into Tractor, you are enveloped in an ambiance of refined sophistication. The décor, a harmonious blend of modern luxury and timeless elegance, sets the perfect stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Soft lighting and understated but tasteful accents create an intimate atmosphere that is perfect for both romantic dinners and special occasions.
The service is impeccable. Attentive without being overbearing, the staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and keen on ensuring that every guest feels like royalty. The sommelier’s wine recommendations were spot on, pairing beautifully with the courses.
Now to the star of the evening: the food. The menu is a celebration of artistry and innovation. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with the freshest ingredients and presented with breathtaking attention to detail. My Lentil soup, with its creamy , was nothing short of extraordinary. The layers of taste were complex yet perfectly balanced, a true testament to the chef’s skill. Dessert was equally divine, providing a sweet yet sophisticated finish to the meal.
Dining at Tractor is more than just a meal—it’s an experience. Whether it’s the impeccable service, the exquisite flavors, or the luxurious atmosphere, this restaurant offers a feast for the senses. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-class dining experience that will linger in their memories long after the last bite.

Good… but severely over priced. The half chicken is actually 1/4 chicken. The full chicken is actually 1/2 chicken.

Won't be going again, the portions are a joke. They legit mesure with scales. And a bowl is mainly leaves! The chicken about 2 bites and is disgusting and terrible quality. Honestly, save your money. The only nice thing was the lovely server.

Soup had a massive fly in it. Called and was sent straight to voicemail. I had already eaten a few bites and feel pretty sick to my stomach. Not sure if I should eat anything else I’ve ordered

Was looking for a healthy spot in the neighborhood. I got the Roasted Chicken Sandwich. Pretty disappointing. There was barely any chicken on this $15 sandwich, a few thin slices of pear that didn't even covered the bread. Basically eating lettuce, sauce and greens..garnished with chicken and pear...Flavour of sauce is decent though.. Will not be back. Plus they don't have an accessibility button for the door either. Whomp whomp.
