Shauna and her team are absolutely wonderful. We were looking for a wedding cake, and from the very beginning our experience with Trafiq was fantastic. Shauna and the staff were so incredibly helpful answering all the questions about pick up, and details of the cake. The only thing better was the taste of the cake itself! Every single cake they have is so delicious. We were so happy to be able to buy a wedding cake that was not only beautiful, but also actually tasted good!

The cake was dry, not soft, and definitely not worth the price $55+. The customer service was terrible—the woman who helped me acted like she owned the place repeating answers to questions like what they had and if the cake would last the night, with an arrogant condescending attitude as if their products were a gift from the heavens. Give me a break. I suggest trying somewhere else, like Cadeaux or anyone really where they actually know how to treat customers and make quality baked goods good place to avoid also their hours make you need to take time off from work to get anything or go at lunch they have 10am to 5pm banking hours.

I recently visited Tariq Bakery on the main street and tried several desserts like the Chocolate Descents mini, Blueberry Lemon cake slice, Chocolate Brulee cake slice, Carrot Cake mini cake, and Strawberry Shortcake mini cake.
My favorite was the Strawberry Shortcake mini cake smooth, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I also love lemon flavoured desserts, so I tried the Blueberry Lemon cake slice and really enjoyed it. It had a nice amount of icing and was very tasty.
My husband went for the Chocolate Brulee cake slice and liked it a lot. He said it had the perfect level of sweetness and a nice crunch in a few bites.I had high expectations for the Carrot Cake, but it didn’t suit my taste. The icing felt a bit artificial and wasn’t what I was hoping for.
Overall, a lovely spot with some great options for me, the Strawberry Shortcake and Blueberry Lemon cake slice were the standouts! Next time, I would definitely try out other desserts too.

Omg I don’t know where to start! Our first visit and definitely not our last… the neapolitan cake somehow tasted exactly like the ice cream and the value of that nutella coffee cake is unbeatable. We will definitely be getting our birthdays from here now because the chocolate decadence was next level delicious. I don’t even have words to explain how good everything was from the cookies to the cakes so I’ll some pictures of what we picked up!
I love Trafiq! It has been one of my favourite spots on Main Street for years. My staples are the chunky monkey (bread pudding made with croissants, chocolate and banana!), walnut coffee cake, and the breakfast torta. This is by far one of the most beloved spots for locals and you will rarely find an available table. I usually get my treats to-go. If you are lucky enough to snag a spot, you'll love the busy and bustling atmosphere. Excellent for people watching :)

Picked up a few cake slices for a birthday treat and was not disappointed! The flavors (and the combinations) and texture of the cakes were really well done. Dense but light/fluffy, not overly sweet yet still had strong flavor. I was worried they might be dry because sometimes these fancy cakes at other places look good but are dry and crusty. These were far from dry! They had so many unique cakes to choose from it was hard to decide😅 Will definitely be back to try more!
Oh and the sourdough loaf is the most perfect soft and fluffy bread I've ever had! Only thing is they don't do bread slicing which sucks for me with my poor cutting skills, but I'll make it work😂

Was craving for chocolate, so I got a slice of chocolate earl gray. It had a different taste (weird), not to my liking. Then I got the decadent cake, which was okayish.. Overall, I thought it was pricy, as I've had better cakes.
