I wouldn't call this the absolute best burger in town, but I can confidently say they have the best burger BUNS in town, which definitely counts for something. I don't know why, but somehow it's better than the fancy brioche buns most premium burger places opt for. Could be the pillowy soft bread and ample butter. The rest of it is pretty solid too, though I'd prefer a little less mustard. Also contrary to some other reviews, I found the service pleasant. All in all I wouldn't make the long drive out here just for this burger but I wouldn't hesitate to stop by if I happen to be a little closer by.

Easily the top 3 Burger in town. Take out is not an issue. This Burger, after a 20 minute ride home, held up perfectly. Cooked medium rare, thick slabs of bacon, gooey melty cheese. I mean, come on! Double the patties. You will thank me later.

This place is why I can't give up eating ?.

One of the best burgers in town! A little on the pricy side and small place, got my order to go. Has a little browse at the vintage and small things to buy while I waited. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff.

Great little spot on powell! What a unique vibe they’ve been able to create in such a reduced space because of Covid! Staff were excellent, music on point. Found it a little pricey for what you got (I could probably eat 3 of those $14 burgers) but still very good. Had the peanut butter pickle sandwich too.... should have ordered an extra burger that stuff was nasty lol. All in All, love this place will be back.

This has now entered into my top burgers in the city! After plenty of anticipation, I finally tried the Bacon Cheeseburger and it truly didn't disappoint! I loved the vibes here and the aesthetics truly match the East Van ethos! I highly recommend this place!

Incredible burgers. Was in a beautiful food coma for hours. I love how phones need to be checked in so you can focus on conversation. Sad that it's closed, but happy that the take-out window is open.

Fantastic burgers, I recommend calling ahead for take out. Today the burgers came with a Chicago popcorn side that was a great dessert. Definitely a must try.

Amazing service, great tunes, RIDICULOUSLY good burgers. The Wagyu beef elevates the burger to new heights. Current set-up for COVID-19 is pick-up or walk-in. Safe and delicious!

Over rated TbhBut not bad....But not worth $20 per burger with tax and tips imhoMeat was well cooked, but one burger a little pink. And none of us loved the buns. All felt like a day older than they should have been. The veggie burger was pretty good! And no cold drinks, fridge was busted. I won’t be back anytime soon. I would not recommend.

Legendary cheese burger! It was cooked to perfection, delicious, with lots of pickles, a perfect bun and incredibly juicy, flavour-packed Wagyu beef. I’m gonna say this is the best burger in Vancouver and I’ve been eating burgers for 18 years in this city! Also great value for money. My wife had the Kimchi burger, also delicious and I’d highly recommend it. Well done pivoting from an equally awesome bar setup to a take out. This local business should be supported. Do yourself a favour and head on down to East Van for a serious treat. We’ll be back:) We were too hungry and didn’t take any photos this time, sorry!

Heard a lot of hype about the burgers here. Thoroughly disappointed and the cost for a single burger is way too high. Boo-urns! Come on over I’ll make you a better burger at my house.

So I’ve been hearing very good things about this place so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it was after this whole lockdown/quarantine started. The guy at the counter was extremely friendly and such a great guy. He was playing wutang on vinyl and provided us with exceptional customer service. He also made it evident to us that the burgers there have completely changed since they closed up their main location/bar due to covid. The burgers we got were nothing special especially for the price of 17$. We could’ve gotten a better burger at veras for a lesser price. I would’ve given this place 2 stars if it weren’t for the guy working the counter. The customer service made the experience a tad bit better. Wouldn’t go back to be honest.

Went there because of the reviews.. we had 2 burgers and fries. Unfortunately we were totally deceived. The burgers were not tasty..Among other things really needed some serious ketchup..very disappointed. I would rather have a triple O's or Vera's
