Trocadero Pizza & Steak House

Pizza topping was good but there is a very flimsy thin crust on the bottom. The crust needs to be thicker. Toppings were sliding off on the plate when cut into because of a very thin crust. Could use improvement.

Staff were so incredibly thoughtful and kind. Awesome vibe in the restaurant and the food was great! Local gem for sure.

5 star location, quality and hospitality on the highest level

The bolognese lasagne is so so so so delicious - the people there are really nice - feels very personal and friendly. The space is also nice.

Absolute gem of a spot!! Family owned and run for decades, I felt like I had been coming here for years after my first visit. I haven't encountered hospitality like this in Vancouver, legitimately the nicest people you will come across.

Food was delicious and Krissa nails the cocktails. Great vibes on a Saturday night! My new local spot, we will be back....often!!

Upon arrival, we were quickly seated, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout. The open kitchen was a highlight, allowing us to watch the skilled chefs craft our meals, adding an engaging and personal touch to the experience.

The food itself was fantastic. The steak was cooked to the exact level of doneness requested—a rare feat—and the flavors were spot on. The hummus, while delicious, was a bit heavy on garlic, which may not suit everyone’s palate but worked well for those who love bold flavors.

Overall, Trocadero combines fast, efficient service with authentic Italian cuisine in a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s no wonder they’ve thrived for so long. Highly recommended for a casual yet satisfying meal!

One of the oldest restaurants and is still around. Seems like a lot of people go here for large group dinners. They have a lot of space so you can fit massive tables together and not interfere with anyone.

It brought good memories of when we lived in East Van and we went there. The sisters are so friendly and work so hard. Great place
