Used this caterer for an event for 200 people. Passed canapés. I didn’t actually eat any of the amazing looking food but feedback from guests was excellent. The staff were all very good to work with from the first point of contact through to the event itself. There were able to work within our budget to deliver outstanding quality and quantity.

Ordered the Christmas Holidays bundle for my family this year as we wanted a hassle free dinner. Shopped around a bit and decided on Truffles as it had good reviews and pickup was close to home. Pricing was fair (approx $180) and very competitive, food was overall very tasty, and the pickup process was seamless.The problem I had was they somehow left out the mashed potatoes portion of the meal kit and I didn’t discover it until the night of Christmas when it came time to heat up all the food. Yes, I understand that I should’ve double checked the order upon pickup, but the lady at the counter verbally confirmed that everything was in there, so I just brought it home and placed it in the fridge.I emailed the company upon discovery of the missing item, and they got back to me a couple days later saying each order is hand picked and checked off by their kitchen; well, clearly it wasn’t for my order. In my opinion, they were passive aggressive with their response to the problem and played defensive. Nevertheless, they refunded me $20 without me asking for a monetary solution.I’m not so sure if i will be back again if this is how they resolve problems brought up by their customers.Truffles has contacted me and offered a satisfactory resolution to this problem. The updated review reflects this.

We enjoyed Truffles' Christmas dinner packages, both the turkey dinner and the vegan dinner, and they were both delicious. Very, very generous portions and heated up well in the oven. Appreciated the free delivery service. The best Christmas catering we've had in the past few years. Highly recommend. Thank you Truffles!

Went to an event catered by them and the presentation of the food was very nice. The chicken skewers tasted of good quality. The charcuterie board had lots of variety and was a beautiful spread. I liked eating the raincoast crisps with the several cheeses they offered. All of the food was good and average to above average in taste.
