Such a great spot! Very casual and extremely quick to serve. Every part of my meal was wonderful. I had a few the gommae, tako sunomono, miso soup, and 6 pieces of niguri. All were very fresh and nicely presented. I will definitely be back!

New ownership. Menu stills says black rice optional but only white. Spinach goma-ae bland. Veggie roll sour. No longer permitted to request two more pieces sashimi added to five piece combo. Loud, annoying pop music overhead. I said nothing about this, but when I tried to quietly watch an instructional video on my phone (no one else even near me) was told to turn it off. Hostess very rude. What was once a great sushi place is now one to avoid

Took probably an hour to get our food. Food was terrible at best, two hours later and I’m 90% sure I’m going to have food poisoning. Our server was super nice, but that was it. Everything else sucked.

For someone who has allergies to shellfish, I’m usually very leery to try new sushi restaurants. They were very accommodating and pleasant here! Definitely coming back on my next trip. ❤️
