Today was my first time visiting, and I had a great experience. Although the place is quite small and the pastry selection is limited, the espresso was excellent—smooth and not overly acidic. The vegan banana bread was a highlight: soft, fresh, and perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Prices are fair, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I’m looking forward to returning, especially to try the pour-over while sitting on the patio, enjoying the beautiful fall views of the park just across the street.
They say it’s award winning coffee, but I wouldn’t say the same. Found my Pour over (you can choose your beans) was disappointing, but latte was better. Service was slow. There’s mainly indoor seating with a few chairs out front, cafe is a bit crowded/cluttery.
Well located. Good espressos, cortado etc.

I am addicted to their coffee. Can't drive by Turks without stopping in for an Americano. Always have a bag of beans at home. The best in Vancouver hands down.
Super cozy vibes, friendly staffs!

My favorite spot for an excellent coffee! The Americano is top-notch, and the espresso is superb! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. An amazing place to visit on Commercial Drive. Highly recommended!

While other neighbourhood cafes offer a variety of drinks and decor, Turks will always be my first choice over them.
The coffee could sell itself with its reasonable prices and great tastes, but it truly is the staff who make this place welcome.
Each and every staff member with their layers of personability are so welcoming to me (whether at my most haggard or bubbly), and are so committed to making a good drink that I happily wait in line as they buzz about the bar like a committee of alchemists in action.
And, with today being labour day, I thought it only appropriate to say that these professional baristas deserve to be compensated handsomely for their labour; not only for their craftship, but for their continuing legacy of kindness under the Turks name :)

Adding this to my top 10 list of Vancouver cafes. I had an Americano and breakfast sandwich which were both delicious. The atmosphere was well suited for Commercial Drive. I loved the art! There is a decent amount of seating and some cozy spots for a group to sit.
Vegetarian options: Veg breakfast sandwich was delish!

Perfect iced mocha of my dreams 11/10
This is the best coffee I’ve ever had in Vancouver. each sip is a delight. The atmosphere of the café is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Even if you were to compare it to the Italian cafes on this streets of Italy, this place would come out on top. It’s a must-visit for any coffee lover. Highly recommended!
