I had the crab and lobster omelette. It was practically flavorless — it tasted like slightly buttered, unseasoned eggs. No flavor addition from the seafood. I had to load it up with salt, pepper and condiments to enjoy eating it. The omelette was also quite watery and left a slight pool of water underneath it.
They also only have white bread to accompany, which was meant to be toasted but came out quite soft and squishy.
The roasted potatoes and the cowboy Bloody Mary were excellent. But yes, this (very) expensive omelette was a big disappointment. I wouldn’t go back.
I never wanted to write a review because I didn’t want too many people to discover this spot — it’s been our little hidden gem. But now that we’re out of town, I feel it’s only fair to share.
Provence has been our family’s go-to brunch spot for 3 years, and it has never once disappointed.
The quality of their breakfast offerings is consistently excellent.
Their fresh baguettes are warm, crusty, and perfect — truly some of the best we’ve had.
I especially love their eggs Benedict, which are always perfectly poached and beautifully presented.
Their variety of mimosas is also a fun touch — it’s the perfect pairing for a relaxed weekend meal.
One of the things we appreciate most is that their patio is dog-friendly, so our fur baby can always join us. It makes our brunch outings feel even more like a family experience, and the staff are always welcoming to pets.
Speaking of the staff, they’re always on point: friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. You can tell they care about providing a great experience.
Pricing is fair, especially considering Provence is located in one of the most sought-after and expensive neighborhoods in Vancouver. The value, atmosphere, and quality easily justify it.
If you’re looking for a dependable, charming, and delicious brunch spot that welcomes both humans and pups, Provence is it.

I hate to be petty but if you get seated at 4:55 and the server takes 6 minutes to get to your table, a little grace period on the happy hour time seems reasonable.

Interestingly, the Wine Bar's wine list doesn't accurately reflect the actual wine that they bring to the table! I ordered a 2020 Blind Trust blend (with the actual blend described) and they switched me to a bottle of the 2022 blend, saying that's all they had. No explanation, no apology, and the only alternative that they came up with was a bottle $20 more expensive, and different varietals!
The atmosphere was nice, great view, but loud. The food was good, but they warn you right in the menu that they don't adapt to dietary restrictions and don't allow substitutions.
Had an amazing time here! Service was great and so was the food and mimosa flight. Will definitely be back!

Had an amazing night out with my fiancee. The service was impeccable and food was the same. Great local establishment to celebrate big events or just a date night.

Amazing wine selection! Get yourself a flight and try a bunch of different wines. Truly loved the 2011 Barolo.

Too expensive and okay food, cocktails was meh, and our wine glasses weren’t super clean, maybe just needed extra polishes. I don’t think I would go back here.
