The most lovely, casual, nostalgic restaurant for anyone looking to feel some genuine hospitality and enjoy Ukrainian comfort foods. The service is always so lovely. The kompot was refreshing and the cakes are beautifully made. Cannot recommend the medovyk (Ukrainian honey cake) enough. The layers of dough are wonderfully soft and not too sweet, and the tang of the cream was light and smooth. My friends loved the Napolean cake. Thank you so much and Слава Україні!
This restaurant truly feels like a taste of home. The food is freshly made, flavorful, and reminds me of authentic homemade cooking. The service was outstanding – our waitress, Elena, was warm, and dressed in trqaitional beautiful costume. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a hearty meal. I highly recommend visiting if you want delicious food and genuine hospitality.
Visited this restaurant with my boyfriend and a friend of his (so a group of three in total). The restaurant is easy to reach by public transport (and then by foot). I reckon reaching the restaurant by car can be more challenging. Both regarding the fact it's busy in downtown and the scarcer amount of parking space.
