We genuinely love this restaurant and have eaten here multiple times. The food is excellent — authentic, flavorful, and consistently high quality. It’s one of our go-to spots when we’re craving Thai, and we absolutely plan to keep coming back because the cooking is that good.
That said, we’ve unfortunately run into the same issue more than once: the hours can be very unreliable. On this visit, we arrived well before the posted closing time, only to find out they had decided to close early due to a slow day. This has happened to us before as well.
We completely understand that small businesses have to make decisions based on traffic and staffing, but it’s disappointing when you plan your evening around dining here and arrive with time to spare, only to be turned away.
If you’re planning to dine in, I strongly recommend calling ahead to confirm they’re actually open before heading over. And very importantly — do not pay for parking until you’ve confirmed they’re serving, as you could end up out the parking money and without dinner.

We've been here multiple times over the years. Food is alway delicious and portion sizes are decent. Since they expanded to take over the space next door, it's been getting very busy. Lately they've switched to partial self service which we feel negatively impacts the atmosphere. The last 2 times it was very smoky inside and our eyes were burning and we and other patrons were coughing. They need to do something about the ventilation in the restaurant for the comfort of their customers.

Pad si ew seemed to be highly reviewed so we went with it. Very pleased with our choice. Next time we will try the fried fish curry.

Pad Thai, Thai tea and roti were great! Tom yum was kinda salty, but the noodle it self was delicious. Though there was a small issue during the meal, the staff kindly helped us resolve it.
This is the best Thai food in the city. Absolute hole in the wall, no proper serving ware or flatware. But you come here for the FOOD.

Very overpriced and disappointing. The crab rice dish was bland, dry and with barely any vegetables and roti sauces were very odd.
The food is genuinely amazing 10/10, my favorite Thai spot in Vancouver.
That said, the new self-serve policy really hurts the overall experience. Having to pick up your own chopsticks, bowls, water, and utensils feels like you’re doing half the service yourself. And then being asked to tip on top of that is honestly laughable especially when each main is 25-30 dollars.
Vancouverites, please have some self-respect either decline the tip prompt, or ask why you’re being asked to tip when it’s self-serve.

I’ve been to Thailand so many times and this made me become a big fan of Thai cuisine. Boat noodle is always my favourite among all the Thai dishes. Before I visited this place, I couldn’t find any place that met my expectations. I didn’t even try the other dishes but I’m pretty sure this restaurant provides the best Thai cuisine in Vancouver. I will definitely come back for more. Highly recommended!

Disappointed in how they handled my damaged meal. I called them to address the issue and the lady will not take accountability but kept saying she knows she packed it well. It took about 10mins of conversation before she asked me to send photos of it as well as my receipt to their email and I did. Never responded or resolved the issue. It was no surprise to me with how she even handled it on the call. Very poor.
