Aside from seeing this guy enjoying the outdoor seating first thing everything morning, the ONLY time I shop here is when I need something quick and I'm too lazy to get in my car (I live very close by) and I don't have enough time to wait for Instacart to deliver. It's so overpriced, it has Vancouverites upset and that's saying something since it costs an arm and leg to live in this city. Other than price, no complaints.
Limited options for eating lunch but very good service.
The prices here are much higher than at other stores. Can’t we open a Whole Foods or a NoFrills here instead? 🤔
Pretty small grocery store and near everything is more expensive than area grocers .More than a corner store but sufficient selection. Nice seating area to meet friends, has a deli but today they advertised 1l of soup at 6.99 and 500ml at 4.99...no 1 l containers just a 500 and a 250 but they insisted on charging me $6.99 and I debated! Really? Handy to shop at Urban Fare...but you will pay more.Parking a bit tricky but somewhere close is underground, hard to tell.
Visiting and staying in the Olympic Village and been to this store on a few occasions. While the store is a tad expensive compared to other options for being the only store in the area it has a good selection and a clean environment.
I don’t know what is wrong with the quality control, every time i buy something ( if i had to because it’s our last resource) especially the produce section either already gone bad or moldy ! It’s such a disappointment to have this market in the neighborhood not to mention to the inflated prices ( for what can’t even provide fresh produce)
Merriam-Webster defines a fare as 1) a range or assortment of food and 2) the money a passenger must pay in toll.
Given the prices here, I'm certain they must have meant the second meaning. But in paying this toll you get to witness some incredible customer service interactions; having the self-serve machines be turned off while a line is still waiting for them, approaching the till only for the employee to suddenly decide that collecting receipts in their garbage bin is a more important job, and always reminding the staff at checkout that, yes, there is a reward program here and I would like points today.
Meh, small but serviceable organic groceries, decent deli. Weirdly they put all the cheese in their deli upside down so you have to flip it over to see what it is. Super dumb.
Amazing grocery store!
I went to the deli to get a drink, and the clerk philippino guy with I think glasses didn't take my cash and walked away to do something else. When I confronted him about it he argued back as if he did nothing wrong. What kind of person just walks away and doesn't help someone? I don't ever want to come back because of that. Thanks.

Tiffany in the restaurant department was great. Friendly, efficient, professional, a real pleasure to be served by her
Good self service food. Excellent place to have lunch... also have a market with reasonable prices.
Horribly expensive. For a shop that is supposed to be fancy, you'll find poor choices when it comes down to cheese or charcuterie. Meat quality is not bad.
It was 7am the store opened i gone there alot this time I felt totally humiliated I'm 64 confined to a wheelchair I forgot my dentures so I first entered the store I saw the clerk he gave me a look like I was a piece of garbage he basically followed behind me like I was a thief after I picked up what I needed went to the cash the cashier gave me the same attention my groceries rang in over fifty dollars I said I'd like a 7 dollar 649 I ask the lady where's my ticket she refused to give it to me until she seen my money I paid for my things and left feeling so humiliated I was in tears I'll shop at Urban fare again but not the salt st location .Sincerely William Mcelroy
Seemed okay... But if I get violent diarrhea, I already know the reason.
