The gentleman manning the cart in the evening is very unpleasant. Although advertising credit and debit , he demanded to be paid in cash. Then he charged 1 dollar to use the machine, grumbled the whole time, made misogynist comments at women walking by. Finally, his hands are super dirty and he grabs the cheese with them.
Vegetarian options: He advertises veggie options, but has none and will get mad at you if you ask for them.

Waited 5 minutes until point of payment to mention that minimum payment on cards is $20 (got 2 hot dogs at $8 each). Unfriendly service and dogs were okay but small for the price. Would not go back.

This man charged 11$ for a cold smokie I had to throw out. There is no price on his sign for this price nor any conversation. So many better hot dogs in Vancouver r
Unfortunately, not a good hot dog. We were up charged for fried onions and cheese that we hadn't asked for and weren't offered.

This is a novelty chain hot dog place - while interesting it's not amazing and rather pricey for what it is. The drinks are all overpriced. The lemonade was almost $5 and was so sugary that two people could not drink it.
My daughter's first time to Vancouver so of course had to take her to Japadog. Chose this location as it had seating and took credit card. Kind of an overwhelming menu! But we chose the karage and katsuy dogs plus the overflowing fries. It was all so good! We wanted to come back to try the other stuff but we ran out of time. Seating, bathrooms. super nice staff and delicious japanese style dogs and fries were great. You have to like asian fusion so if you don't, don't come here. Lots of choices so maybe do research before hand. We did but still overwhelming to see it in person hahaha. Last time I came I went to the original cart; glad to see they have this restaurant for those that prefer to sit LOL
Love the dogs! Thank you! Such great service and delicious dogs.

The menu is Fushion between hotdog with Japanese style that is the reason is called japadog. It’s a unique hotdog and you may try when you have a chance to get it done
Restaurantji Recommends
We tried a number of different hotdogs and poutine. We were very happy with all our food. Service was helpful and efficient. Would highly recommend.
Amazing name, my friend is also a Japadog. The hot dogs werent hairy enough for me. I prefer my dogs unskinned
Possibly the worst dog ever. Cold and tasteless. Complete garbage.
Amazing!! We ordered a terimayo dog, a spicy cheese terimayo dog, an okonomi dog, wasabi mayo takoyaki, and butter/shoyu shaked fries. The food was amazing, the dogs were high quality, and we were blown away by the mix of hot dogs with a Japanese flair. Despite a fair crowd, the food was ready fairly quickly, and seating on the street was readily available. When we visit Vancouver again this will definitely be on our list once more!
First time, a definite 10/10 the Japanese Curry Poutine was to die for. The Cilantro smokie has a sweet taste added, soooooo good. You gotta be a Cilantro lover like me.
