This is my second visit; I had come during the height of COVID and the food was much better than (that, or I just didn't eat out much during the period so everything taste good...)We ordered a clay pot rice and a soup noodle for lunch. Both were disappointing. The clay pot rice didn't firstly used a clay pot, so there was no crispy rice at the bottom that is classic of the dish. The chicken was well marinated though. The redeeming thing about the clay pot rice is at least it came with a complimentary soup of the day (which was reasonable) and a hot drink. The soup noodle was also mediocre. The soup ran on the saltier side, and the ingredients taste as if they were thawed out.Along the same price point and quality, I much rather go to Happy Day cafe or Joy cafe. Both taste much better, run a similar line of business and feature the same dishes.Service was so-so. They attended to the tables when you call the server, but not great with refilling tea/water. But no expectation given this is a HK style cafe.Their milk tea is good - rich and aromatic.Parking is challenging as the restaurant is in a small plaza; we had to park a block away on the streets.

Fave place for HK food. Love their chicken rice clay pot. You can usually get in but it’s often busy. Very affordable! Debit/ cash only.

Weekend lunch with the wifey, we wanted to go to the one in Richmond, because we like the food there, but we ended up in VancouverWe got a table right away, ordered food and they came relatively fast. The crispy seafood noodles was crispy but the sauce on top were not flavourful, and not much seafood, it just ok.The laksa was not very smooth, and the chicken was over cooked, we won’t be ordering that againWe also ordered the Portuguese chicken baked rice, the chicken was well marinated, but the sauce was bland, overall it just ok.We hope this is just a one off or just not the dishes that they are good at. Hope when we go there next time they will be better

This place was really good in person back when we visited in the summer. Ordered for take away on Uber eats and it seems they put way less food for take away orders. The two photos below were $60.00 before delivery fees. The beef stirfry was $30.00 and it’s not even filled to the top. We’ve noticed this in several Chinese restaurants in Vancouver now where the take away orders are way less food than ordering in restaurant. For the same price plus delivery fees we weren’t impressed it feels like they skimp on their take out customers.

Cozy Hong kong style cafe, best time to go is during there happy hour 2-5pm is what i recommand, prices are good for the one person meals.Parking: They only have 12 stalls in the parking lot, its a hit or miss, then you can park up in the neighborhood...

Hong Kong style cafe. It was surprisingly busy when we dined in. Apparently they’re famous for the baked rice! It came with a drink (lunch menu)

?Grapefruit ribs: The fried pork ribs are wrapped in grapefruit honey, which is a bit too greasy for my taste. ?Baked rice with mandarin ducks: It’s okay, the ingredients are a bit lacking and it’s all rice.??Spaghetti with shredded ham and chicken in white sauce: We ordered it wrong and we didn’t notice it at first. This one is quite creamy and delicious.??Steamed fermented fermented bean curd and lotus leaf chicken: This is what xhs recommends, but I feel it’s less steamy than what they serve, and the taste is quite fresh, rather salty. ?Bacon Prawn Lasagna with White Sauce: This is what we ordered. It’s creamy but not salty and a bit greasy. It doesn’t taste as good as the wrong one.??Example soup: The first time was kudzu pork ribs, and the second time was lotus root pork ribs. The first time I gave it a big portion, but the second time it became smaller. I don’t understand, but it tastes good.??Almond cream: The almond flavor is very fragrant, not too sweet, warm and comfortable, the best I have ever tasted.

Do not park in the first right stall under the sign pole when enter the parking lot. Many people hit their cars on the 2 yellow poles when they try to back in the stall. Why do people do that? Because you might think your car is not parallel with the other cars on the same side, so you back up more. It is the worse parking space ever. With repairs on your car, you might have to spend over a $1000 for your lunch or dinner.

Don't accept credit card. We had to pay in USA dollar which the rate is highly unfavorable. Food is only ok, portion small. Not in Richmond area.Wheelchair accessibility: yes. ground floor. multiple doors.
