Vancity Donair and Fried Chicken

Actually, I ordered it online here on Wednesday, and I don't know why it wasn't delivered on the same day, but the fried chicken thighs and fried chicken wings were crispy and not greasy, and they were delivered quickly，delicious👍🏻😋

So I was poking around my google account and noticed a simple message from the business that said “how may we help?”… so I checked the business and WOW, looks like these crooks had my review removed. I don’t even think it was a bad review, probably 3 stars. Food is hit or miss but feels a bit overpriced and watch out for hidden fees. I suspect the 4.7 stars average is not exactly genuine.

Their crispy chicken burger is so good! And they now sell phenomenal real fruit ice cream which is the best I ever had! 10/10 recommended. Service is fast and very friendly.

I don't normally write reviews. In fact I usually write negative ones. I got my chicken platter to go. I didn't expect much when I was coming in because I saw that there was no one inside. This places serves fried chicken, ice cream and shawarma how can the chicken shawarma platter be good?

Holy I am impressed by the level of seasoning and acidity on the plate. Absolute perfection. The sauces are masterfully seasoned. The salad had the right amount of acidity to balance out the richness of the chicken. Rarely do I write such good reviews on a shawarma.

The salads acidity and sauces balance combined with freshly fried potatoes made me applaud this place and give it a 5 star

I visited during car free day and thought other food would be better but, this was by far the best food I've tried in a long time.
I would definitely come back!!

Dropped in for a snack. I was received so pleasantly and professionally that me and my friend decided to have a meal. We had fried chicken, I had a sandwich and he just the chicken. Price was extremely reasonable and quality was top notch. It took about 20 minutes for our order to be ready however that was due to everything getting cooked from fresh. Chicken was absolutely perfect and delicious including the sauce and fresh and toasted bun; topped with a delicious homemade coleslaw. Very satisfying portions and taste. Will definitely go back and strongly recommend it. Well done ?????

The fried chicken burger has a smoky paprika flavour with cumin and mayonnaise sauce, which doesn’t disappoint, also there is a crispy cabbage slaw provided with the chicken burger .. if you’re hungry, this will satisfy you..
The poutine was amazing as well

Update*** This restaurant has new owners. The mozzarella sticks are THE BEST, especially love the homemade chipotle dip that comes with them!

This place is so great! Reasonable prices and great food. The meat is halal and you can tell, very real. For veggie options, falafel donair is nice!

Hands down the best falafel wrap on the drive, the poutine was pretty good, too! The service was lovely, and the meal was put together by a kind and generous woman with a great deal of care. Truly haven't felt satisfied like this over a falafel wrap in a long while. Bump!
