Great atmosphere and food, service is top notch.
I've had excellent food and drinks here. Our server last week was great
Went to the Victor for their Sunday Brunch and it was well worth it for the price! Lots of food options in the buffet, a dessert table and candy table. Everything was delicious! The honey ham and prime rib were phenomenal. You also get to choose one made to order meal, i got the french toast and it was delicious and a very big portion. My friend got the Victor Victoria and enjoyed it. I also got a few mimosas, lots of different juices to choose from! There’s also a caesar table to make your own caesar’s with garnishes. Tanvir our server was awesome, very helpful and kind. The Victor was gorgeous and overlooking a beautiful patio.
What a great experience!! Bradley and the team were on point tonight. The drinks were spot on and my lobster melted in my mouth. I had the scallops and that too was absolutely delicious. Well worth the money spent!
We were a group of 20 and the service was superb. The views of bc place and the water fountain in the front were stunning and the cheesecake is a must. Can't wait to come back and try the wellington 🙂
Prime rib and tuna sashimi were stellar
Had dinner with my s/o at this restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was top notch. Friendly staff. Chris and Avi our server was on point and gave us the best experience. Highly recommend!
My favorite restaurant.. what a dreamy place! Great food, service, and atmosphere! To be fair it's on the pricier side but oh my is it worth it! Absolutely love this place mostly all of the food is great but if I had to recommend one I would choose the steak
If I could then it would be ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10 stars!!!
We used to love going to The Victor but unfortunately our group of 8 people all noticed a significant downfall of this place.
I will start with the service first, our server was very friendly but I could tell he was very tired and was having a hard time trying to keep up; he forgot multiple things (like coke) and had to be reminded multiple times.
The food was a huge disappointment for us; the sushi that we loved here so much were prepared differently, the rice seemed very dry and old. Our steak didn’t taste very good, the meat seemed not fresh and it was not prepared properly. We have gone to this restaurant many times in the past and compared to last time we were here (a year ago) everything changed so much. I am not sure if the kitchen staff changed but it’s very noticeable to everyone.
Husband and I were looking for a place to have dinner, in the area we were visiting, and someone recommended The Victor. We were surprised that it is kind of tucked away in a building, but what a beautiful space it was nestled in. Upper casual atmosphere with lots of light. I’m not a fan of dark restaurants. The server, Noah, was very attentive, and sociable, and we had a great time chatting with him. The menu was fantastic with lots of choices that we like, so a plus for our tastes in foods. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Had a great experience, and will definitely be back when we pop over to Vancouver again.
Really bad service and fine food. Not worth the price

Oh my word. We were in town 2 nights for the AC/DC concert and staying at the Douglas hotel. Came back from a day of sightseeing and I was craving a really great steak before the concert. The man Leo at concierge made us a reservation here and it was the best meal I’ve had in years (a little loud in there but rightfully so, AC/DC crowds are not quiet) the food and drinks were phenomenal. The fillet minion with bacon and added broccolini was perfect. I could have cut it with a spoon. But my fave thing was our waiter Christian brownie brown. He was so professional yet easy going casual and confident. He was great. When our meals came, he and 2 of his younger colleagues came and cleared our table of the empty glasses and appetizers like they were doctors prepping me for surgery. It was amazing how coordinated they all are. I wish my phone wasn’t charging in the room because I would have loved to add photos. Amazing meal amazing staff and amazing weekend! Thank you victor
So, here’s the deal: There are way too many nice restaurants in Vancouver to allow this place to get away with its problems. Tiny portion sizes for what is advertised as “shareable” sized. Charging by the drink for fountain Cola. The appetizers sucked, the popcorn shrimp was of the quality of a 10$ Chinese restaurant, and the curry crab cake was very mediocre. The steak was fine, but could gotten just the same at The Keg.
The bruch is worth every $. I would strongly recommend going there on an empty belly.
For a rather exclusive and pricey restaurant, the food quality isn’t there unfortunately. A friend warned me she always has to send the food back cuz it never comes out right. She goes cuz of the atmosphere but not the food. She was right. I had to send my steak back. It was overcooked and under seasoned. For the prices there, I would expect perfection. Keg would have nailed it on the first try. So that’s very disappointing. I thought my friends was just picky or something. Maryna was fantastic! My friend was definitely right about her. If I went back, it wouldn’t be because of the food.
Always a great place to visit with friends and family. Atmosphere is always vibrant and the food and drinks never fail.
