Complete disappointment. We were a group of four and had one of the worst dining experiences in a long time. Our server was completely absent — we had to flag down random staff just to get our orders taken. We ordered almost everything on the menu, and the only decent dish was the lamb shank. The sushi was extremely fishy, the rest of the food was overly salty, and to top it off, our bottle of wine didn't arrive until we asked several times. The strangest part? The restaurant was practically empty. Unfortunately, not recommended at all.
Had another fabulous meal at The Victor and amazing service to go with the delicious food and wine.
Our first experience at the Victor was memorable, our server Chico made our first experience enjoyable. He explained how the brunch menu worked and his service was on point! He even joked to our boyz about not getting motorcycles 🤣
Top notch! Highly recommended. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Everything was 5 star!
Fantastic service and a great vibe. Went for Sunday brunch before the Whitecaps game. Gotta say the prime rib was awesome.
Absolutely Amazing ! One of Vancouver's hidden gem - highly recommend checking Victor out ...
Super welcoming by all the staff. John our waiter did a great job. Food was excellent! My friends were there for the first time and were very impressed. Thankyou. Wade
I'd give this place a 1/5 if it weren't for the amazing food. We had reservations but it took the hostess 20 minutes to sit us down as if they'd forgotten about us. Because of the wait, we knew appetizers we wanted to order. Arrived quick (7:06 time stamped w photos I took). Our mains took a FULL hour to arrive. We were there on a Friday so I understand they were busy but the servers were passing by our table barely checking on us, even the managers looked like they wanted to avoid eye contact just so they don't have to deal with the long wait. Will say that the rib cap my husband ordered was amazing. Crab cake was very delicious although the $30 price for one piece is a little out there. Wagyu was dry. Crispy Brussels sprouts was a good side option.
Victor restaurant is like a hidden gem!! Been living here all my life and stumbled across here with a friend and simply love this place! Food and service is excellent. Will be back for sure!!
The lunch buffet was a pleasant experience. Service was excellent, and the environment was nice. Food variety was limited, but the crab cake main course was delicious. Drinks weren't included, and the floor felt slightly sticky. Overall, at this price, it's good value and a satisfying outing. I'd recommend it.

Enjoyed our dinner at The Victor. Service was attentive and welcoming. The manager, Allen, came by to greet us and later to ask about food. Food was overall good. Had their special $88 anniversary menu, which was good value, along with items from their main menu. They also gave us a couple of flutes of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. Only negatives were the wait time between our appetizers and entrees and the dark bathroom lightening.
Greeted warmly, sat in the Lounge/Bar Area. Hostess gave us the option of a table or the bar which I thought was nice. Presented with a multitude of menus, options and happy hour which was impressive. Something for everyone and every budget. Server Stephen was efficient, kind and friendly. Food was delicious - we opted for the special $88 menu to celebrate the 8 years of the Victor. Portions were great - could not finish dessert! Will most certainly return.
The staff and chef always do a great job. Thanks to Nick the Manager for always making us feel special when we are there
We stayed at our favourite Vancouver hotel, The Parq, and dined at our favourite restaurant, The Victor, as part of our brief anniversary stay which included seeing The Swell Season at the Orpheum. Upon arrival we learned that the Parq was celebrating an anniversary of its own, their eighth. The Victor embraced this with an incredible special menu that offered a four course meal for just $88 per couple. Not each, per couple. In fairness we have always enjoyed the Victor and would have paid regular menu prices without a second thought. However, this was too good to resist. And it truly was. Each course was outstanding as was the service. Needless to say we'll be back. We appreciate the staff and the food and now have a new fantastic memory of our mutual anniversaries.
From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was clearly made with care and attention to detail. What really stood out, though, was the service—attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire meal. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience in our anniversary. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and outstanding hospitality. Will definitely be back!
