This is my favourite place for pho, by far. Really good service and the food is excellent. My top orders are the beef noodle pho and their beef sashimi ?

Finally tried Vietnamese Tea House after noticing it a few years ago. It's run by a husband wife combo, a few doors down from Laksa King.We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (2:30pm). The inside is small with half a dozen tables (16 seats). Service is friendly.Menu consists of appetizers, pho, bun, rice, banh mi and house specials. They also have a full bubble tea menu. Surprised to see they offer raw beef salad (bo tai chanh).- Herbs - bean sprouts, basil, lime wedges and sliced hot peppers.- Bun rieu (#37) ($14.00) - broth was light, more tomato based. Decent but lacked depth. Noodles were too soft.- Bun cha ca (#40) ($14.00) - never seen celery in a bun cha ca before; did not enjoy the tasteless addition. Fish cakes were average, wish they gave more taro stem. Broth was very light. Again, noodles were too soft for my liking. Wanted to like VTH but there's better Vietnamese options in the neighbourhood.

Very good pho. The broth could be a bit more robust and more meat would be nice. But very good. Great pho and drinks combo price too!

Solid random place for Pho along Hastings, along a random dumpy building.Parking is available on the side streets, as well as on Hastings outside of rush hour. The inside is pretty dumpy too. Maybe 20 seats in total. Looks a bit like a Vietnamese village.Staff are friendly. Looks like a family run place.Pho here is pretty solid. Nice light broth, and decent meat portion. Noodles aren't soggy. Quite tasty.Spring rolls aren't very good at all. Finger thin, and soggy. They are the Chinese style ones. I'd skip these.I also had their pork patty sandwich (banh mi). Generous portion of meat. Could use a bit more pickled vegetables.Honestly I wouldn't mind coming back at some point in the future.
