Their Happy Hour is an Unhappy Hour. Bored non smiling bartender/waitperson (1) person. Warning! Get ready for a long wait even with little or no quests in. So highly understaffed. As a result I have to clean my own dirty table, and get the menus from the bar because where the quest experience from start to finish was consistently awful. Drinks took 20 minutes arrive. The butter with bread served cold. The waitperson ended their shift. The new waitperson was alone as the other one no-showed! We even had to clean our table. We had to wait 18 minutes at the bar to pay. We've lived in Champlain Heights for 23 years. This pub has never been renovated once. It's dirty, dingy, has lousy food from what we ordered that was a simple warm up job - now you know

Neighbourhood pub, been here forever. Horrible kitchen hours, often service ends at 7:30 or 8 PM. All you have with your drinks afterwards are chips and peanuts. Get with the program, COVID is over. Change your hours and keep kitchen running until an hour before close, like every other Pub in the city.

I gotta edit this review. The owner isn't ordering on time, so quite often you'll go and 5 taps will be empty of basic stuff like Bud and Coors. Also, the WiFi here is REALLY bad, which is a shame because the cell coverage in this area is poor and hard to get a signal.

The positive is that the staff are decent and the food has improved (when the kitchen is open...)

I counted 10 fries served with my burger. Service was pretty slow but they only had one person on orders/bar/running, and one cook so it wasn't a shocker.

Last night on New Year’s Eve, I had my girlfriend come to watch my friend play there songs and dance, I was having a great time until I saw a tasted there food, and there service OMG way overwhelming and slow very rude as well…………See I was born with Mild Cerebral Palsy with effects my fine motor coordination and balance……..they saw me walking to the restroom my balance was off a little…so instead of asking me if I was okay I would have shown them my medical alert bracelet but instead they refused me anymore drinks that was truly embarrassing

Thank you ‘ you made my night ‘

Went there for lunch. Beer was not bad. Food, however, was mediocre. Fish and chips was made from frozen fish sticks

Cool local pub.

They kept the fryer on late so we could have some wings!

Also, bingo night was a blast!

Double also, Hoyne Dark Matter on tap!

I’ve lived in the neighbourhood for almost 30 years and remember this place when it was the Kangaroo pub. Unfortunately the service has gone way down and I know I’m not the only one who has experienced this recently. We went here today and ordered “vegetarian nachos” and we were brought the beef nachos- both me and my partner said “vegetarian” to the waitress when we were ordering so I’m not sure how this was missed? The waitress had an attitude about us saying something, and asked “do you want me to bring you a new plate?” uh… duh! What do you think, we’re just gonna pick off the meat? Any place where the staff isn’t able to follow simple instructions puts the business at risk- what if we had an allergy and she served us an ingredient that is lethal to us? Totally unacceptable. Normally my partner and I enjoy giving a good tip, but for the first time ever we gave 0$ tip just because the waitress had an attitude about her error. Funny thing is we’ve ordered vegetarian nachos from here before and never had an error so I’m not sure why all of a sudden the waitress is surprised that we are asking for this option. Will not be going back here -best thing about this place was the napkins!

Came here after a workout at the neighborhood community centre hoping for a great lunch. Guess what happened? It was amazing! Relaxed atmosphere and friendly people. All positive feedback someone would want and expect from a neighbourhood pub.I'll definitely be back for a beer soon.

Kid-friendliness: Minors are allowed from opening until 8 PM, as I recall from the sign.

Wheelchair accessibility: Open space, which is not too cramped like most traditional pubs. If you join the normal lunch or dinner crowds, the exterior door will be propped open. The interior door is not too heavy.Bathroom accessibility to be discovered.
