Food was average. Lettuce in bento wilted and a few pieces of chicken cold. Despite staying in restaurant everything was plastic and they threw it all out at the end and had no recycling or compost. A bit unusual for Vancouver.

Used to be decent. Food is cold, salty and way too expensive now. Disappointing
I used to enjoy this shop so much in the past when we ordered from Uber. The food used to be fresh, the chicken was juicy, and the bento was a good portion. Today we ordered from Ubereats again and the quality has gone down the drain. This short rib bento was $20.98 on Ubereats... you could tell they tried really hard to line up the beef pieces to make it look like it's enough portion in the box, but they just couldn't. The beef was so dry and hard. We would never order from them again.

so good authentic wafu/Japanese bento/lunch box
kinda wished they could microwave the asian sized sausage&had a tiny bit of gyoza sauce on top of the dumpling
I used to enjoy the food here during the first two years when it opened. The owner might have changed and the quality dropped significantly. The terriyaki chicken and the ginger pork I ordered are like made from microwave.

A fantastic Japanese restaurant with a super friendly Japanese staff. There are not too many of these in Vancouver, so take advantage.

The food is good and quite affordable. Bento boxes have a nice variety of items in them. I really wanted to like this restaurant. Unfortunately, the chicken in my bento box was raw. I had only noticed it when I bit into the largest piece of chicken at the end of my meal. When I brought it to their attention all they said was sorry and there was no offer of refund or to make another piece. Additionally the bento boxes do not come with miso soup, to get a bowl the cost is an additional $2.49. I would be open to coming back again another time and re-rate this restaurant.

Small cafe for bento and other quick Japanese meals. Packaged frozen desserts (ice cream, popsicles, etc) are available in a freezer if you want to grab something sweet after your meal, and Oi-Ocha tea bottles (only the matcha variety while I was there) or bottled water to wash it down. Staff are very polite.
I got the vege katsu bento, which is almost like a secret item since it’s not displayed on the online or outside menu, just taped onto the menu at the counter. I think they should at least add it online so that people can see they have a vegetarian choice! It was ready very quickly, and the dumplings and katsu were nice and hot. The veggie katsu was not one large cutlet but four smaller pieces, kind of like vegetarian “chicken” nuggets. I liked them. My favourite part of the bento was actually the egg salad; the mashed texture was just right. The bento consisted of lot of pre-cooked stuff thrown together, so it’s missing the appeal of a fresh-cooked meal, but for a quick convenience meal it was very nice. There was a good assortment of dishes in the bento and the complete meal was satiating but not too heavy.
Vegetarian options: Vege katsu bento and egg salad sandwich. No vegan options.

I ordered Chicken Teriyaki and Ginger Pork bento. Both meat is kinda over cooked, tasting dry and not juicy at all.
