Waves Coffee House - Broadway

I ordered a 2x shot of espresso. They wouldn’t add ice as they were not able to charge it or indicate it in their system.

I added a bit of milk and cream from the side table and the female barista watched me like a hawk and said that I should have asked for a cortada instead and that the milk and cream is for other drinks. She then proceeded to say that customers are cheap.

That’s completely unacceptable and beneath the floor customer service. I proceeded to say that I will take my business to Starbucks where that is a not an issue. Milk and cream in a small espresso cup is not a lot. And I don’t like a hot drink. She justified that they’re following corporate guidelines- which is the first I’ve ever heard of.

In reality, the barista and this business is the one that is cheap. Not the customer. If you’re not allowing customers to use milk and cream that’s available on the side because they’re only for specific drinks, then that’s just ridiculous, and also to call customers cheap is a sure way of not having a customer come back.

The icing on the cake- their espresso was distasteful.

Terrible business practice, customer experience, and coffee. 3/3 all negative.

I almost never post poor reviews- but this experience called for it. I won’t be going back and have recommended others to go elsewhere.

Many small businesses and bigger chains around that serve better coffee and understand the value of a good attitude and providing good customer experience.

A smart lay out and lots of comfortable armchairs make it ideal both for resting and/or working. WIFI. Splendid, south exposion.

I saw the server put the immersion blender into the sink, blade side down, touching the bottom of the sink, then pick it back up to blend my other friend’s drink. I don’t know how clean their sink is, but that cannot be hygienic. Then I saw them making my americano with tap water, I know I won’t be coming back here.

This hot chocolate is sooo good!! Creamy, rich, and just look at how beautiful that is! The cafe also felt super cozy and comforting, would definitely return again~

I had the dark chocolate mocha at Waves Coffee House – Broadway and it was hands down the best mocha I’ve ever had. The richness of the dark chocolate paired perfectly with the espresso—smooth, bold, and not overly sweet. On top of that, the latte art was beautiful and clearly crafted with care. You can really tell they put heart into every cup. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Had been visit the store for so many years always had great experience, it’s a cozy environment to have meetings or just sit in to have coffee and food. However, in the most recent visit, I ordered a matcha latte, it taste just straight like milk, no taste of matcha at all, after I told the barista, he help me to add more matcha into it, but still, can’t barely taste the matcha flavour. By far the worst matcha latte I have ever had. I had great experience there, but this instance is really throw me off from visiting again.

A Cozy Coffee Haven

This café is a true gem! The coffee is rich and flavorful, and their signature latte is a must-try. The pastries are fresh and delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. Highly recommend visiting this cozy spot.

The counter persons over charged me for regular coffee and he expect me to tip. First of all Canadian are struggling and we all Canadian are choosing Canadian brand for our needs. But if our own ppl ripping us then wht choice we have.

Very poor service ordered a coffee and a water. Was then asked if I was going to order more to continue sitting in the cafe. Have never been asked this before which was very rude. Also tables were not being cleared when other customers left. Better options on Broadway.
