Came here for their strawberry matcha latte and was not a fan. I expected a stronger matcha flavour balanced with the fruitiness and tartness of strawberry, but all I could taste was the strawberry puree and the rest of the drink felt too watery. Tasted my friend’s matcha lemonade drink as well and all I could taste was the lemon. Not sure why their matcha is so flavourless? (Their hojicha was good however, but this is a matcha cafe)Aside from that, the layout of the cafe is very linear and because of that, seating was pretty cramped and not recommended for groups larger than 3-4. The overall atmosphere seemed like an brand identity mishap — as you enter, you’re greeted with an order window for a(n unrelated?) bakery to your left before the actual cash till for the cafe. The menu also serves soft serve (again, not sure why they branded it under a different name, called softie co.) and items from the juice truck which doesn’t seem to fit the vibe of a more premium matcha cafe. There were just too many different logos and names of other businesses that made the overall experience incoherent and confusing.

Cute little cafe my daughter wanted to go to for ages. Not a huge matcha fan but she loved her drink and the food options are decent. Relaxing atmosphere, too.

Best quality and best tasting matcha that I’ve had in my life. And I drink lots of matcha. I had the cherry blossom matcha and it was lovely. Still had a prominent high quality matcha flavour, with a lovely accent of cherry. It was also a great place to get some work done with wall outlets! I would also come here with a friend to hang out too, great atmosphere and super kind staff. Please open a location in Calgary! ?✨ I now compare every matcha drink I have and I haven’t yet been able to find a yummier one. Seriously a must try if you’re a matcha lover like me.

I'm totally digging this spot! This is my second time here. So, during the chocolate festival, they whipped up this awesome drink with a rich sesame topping – seriously, it's insanely delicious? And oh, I also gave their hot Hojicha Dark a shot, and it's pretty darn good too? Plus, they're rolling out some limited-time drinks for the cherry blossom festival right now?

If you want good matcha, this is where you go, it even says it in their name. I brought my boyfriend here and he ordered the toasted matchamallow latte. He loved it so much, the next 3 days, he ordered this drink on ubereats for delivery. This drink has a toasty, smoky flavour while still tasting the matcha. The marshmallow that comes with it balances the slight bitterness of the matcha. I got the iced strawberry matcha coconut latte. So delicious! I never tried strawberry matcha drink before but it has been the hype recently so I decided to try it. I did notice that they poured the matcha from a container so the matcha wasn’t made to order. Maybe it has been so busy that it just makes sense to do it this way. But my drink was still so good so not complaining.

The cafe's small space and pricey drinks were a bit of a letdown. I was initially drawn in by the matcha creme egg (Easter edition), but was surprised by its $7 price tag, which I only discovered upon arrival since it wasn't listed online. Instead, I opted for the mochi muffins at $1.50 each.I also tried the iced strawberry matcha latte with coconut milk for $8.50. It's worth noting that they charge an additional $1 for oat milk substitution, which makes the price even more expensive. Despite the costs, tipping was still encouraged. While the experience wasn't bad, it did feel a bit overpriced for what it was.Edit: Thanks for clarifying. I didn’t realize oat milk substitution wasn't extra. I found the note under the 'iced strawberry matcha latte' on the menu board a bit unclear. I appreciate your explanation. Next time, I'll be sure to try the oat milk substitution.

As someone vegan that loves matcha, I was so excited to go here! While I love how everything was vegan, I found my black sugar oat milk matcha a little underwhelming. It tasted like my usual Starbucks matcha latte with extra matcha, yet I could barely taste the matcha or the black sugar. So, I would not recommend ordering it half sweet, or a latte if you wanted bold flavour. Regarding the mouthfeel, I found it a little airy and foamier than I would have preferred. Also, there were a few clumps at the bottom of my mug. That said, I did appreciate the art and what I'm assuming is the black sugar drizzled over top. But, I loved my ube coconut cake! The coconut wasn't overpowering and the cake itself was light, moist and perfectly sweet. However, I do think the plastic was unnecessary and took away from the presentation. My boyfriend, who doesn't like matcha or tea in general, loved his red velvet cookie as well and would gladly order it again. We also got french macarons, another cookie, and a croissant cookie for take away. I found that the French macarons had a good texture but were far too sweet. As for the croissant cookie, it was sadly doughy in the middle.Concerning the service, they weren't necessarily rude, but there were no smiles, greetings or polite expressions. At least they bring the drinks to your table when they're finished!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place at all. If anything, I would urge people not to go here. I was traveling to Vancouver and I really love Matcha so I kept seeing this place recommended. I came here around 5 PM and it was really busy, but as I was looking at the menu, I happened to look up and I saw a rat running on the pipe above the cashier. I have never seen rodents while dining at an establishment so this definitely took me by surprise, especially since it was so packed in there. It's really gross to know that they have rats running around above peoples heads as they're in enjoying their food. I think this shows that they might have an issue with infestation if the rat is not afraid to run around in the daytime. I would say if you were planning on going there, look up at the pipes because that is where I seen this happen. I wish I was able to get a picture, but I didn't think about snapping one until after I left.
