Absolutely the best brisket we have ever had. The service was incredible. Make your reservation early - they book up in advance. Also, get the ribs.

Best western BBQ I’ve had in the city. The atmosphere is quaint but very cozy and the owner makes everything himself. We splurged on the full platter as a group of 3 to give everything a try and everything went beyond what I could’ve ever imagined: the ribs are so tender and fall perfectly off the bone, the brisket and chicken are both incredibly juicy, and the pulled pork is just perfectly flavourful (and not too dry!)All sauces really elevated each every single dish, would absolutely come again.Notes: reservation required, call or email. Orders could take some time since everything is made immediately to-order. Great meat takes time and man is it worth it. Thank you Marc for such a terrific experience!

Had a Friday night reservation with my boyfriend. We were greeted quickly at the door and had a choice of 2 different tables. The food and drinks were fantastic. We got the H44 platter and I can confirm that it would be nearly impossible to finish this as a table of 2. The portions were quite large and everything was hot and delicious. We fought over the brisket! It was so flavorful and tender! For sides, we indulged on potato salad, buttered corn, baked beans (very delicious), coleslaw, Mac & cheese and carrots. The homemade BBQ sauce, hot sauce and mustard were excellent. Paired very well with the selection of meats. We enjoyed the home brewed iced tea (sweetened), a Jack and Jill cocktail and a Revelstoke Whiskey. We really enjoyed our evening dining at Whiskey Six! We will be back!

Marc creates special food, with such care and effort for diners. We live in the neighbourhood and have eaten here many times, including recently choosing it as a spot to bring friends for special occasions. The brisket is exceptional. Definitely recommend booking!!

This is a haven for anyone who appreciates exceptional service, mouthwatering BBQ, and a fine whisky selection. The heart and soul of this establishment is Marc, an owner and a host whose passion for his craft is evident in every detail. From using only locally sourced ingredients to preparing everything from scratch, his dedication shines through. My highlight was their whiskey collection, the most extensive and impressive assortment of local spirits I've ever encountered in Vancouver. I was even able to savor an American bourbon that I had longed to try in Canada. While some might find the reservation-only policy and specific schedule a bit restrictive, I found that a quick visit to their website provided all the necessary details for planning my visit. It's a simple step to ensure you get to enjoy what this place has to offer. Once you're there, it's all about indulging in delicious food, savoring fantastic drinks, and experiencing a level of personalized service that's rare to find. For those in Vancouver looking for an intimate and exceptional culinary experience, this is the spot you won't want to miss.

Tiny, quaint and intimate. Owner runs the show so you feel like invited guests in his home. Food was delicious but make sure to make a reservation as he plans the days meals on reservations. Quality can't be rushed so it is nice to relax and enjoy your food. Excellent place to try some Bar B Q

A very quaint and intimate spot for dinner. Phone for a reservation as you won't get a table if you just walk in. The food was delicious and the owner is a very "hands on" operator busy with the prepping and serving. The whole time making you feel like a guest in his home by taking a few minutes to chat. Loved it and would definitely return when back in Vancouver

Thank you, Mark, for a wonderful dinner and being such a tremendous host. We have often done take out and your burger is one of the best in town. But this was our 1st dining experience and you did not disappoint. From the drinks, the Electric Current is one of my new favourites, to the H44 Platter. There was more than enough for everyone. Beautifully presented, the meat was succulent and juicy and generous. But we were still fighting over the brisket. The big surprise for us was the smoked chicken. I usually am meh about most restaurants' chicken and generally find them over smoked and dry. Mark's chicken is kissed by the smoke and still delightfully juicy and moist. Not over seasoned so you can enjoy the yummy homemade condiments. Great BBQ sauce, well balanced and terrific mustard. Sides were generous and delicious. Love the beans, coleslaw, Mac and cheese. Fries were hot and crispy tender. Just the way we like them.Reservations are a must. Restaurant is wonderfully intimate but seating is very limited. Also recommend preordering to ensure you get what you want. He sells out pretty fast. Our 1st visit, definitely NOT our last and will still be picking up burgers there.

Marc is a great chef and owner of this place and he has one of the best (if not the best) Organic* beef burgers ? in town. Make sure you make a reservation as all the food is made fresh. Always fresh and consistently great! ?
