Wow I'm impressed. The fish and chips I had is delicious. The prep of the batter is smooth. The fish is good. The oil that day must had been fresh oil.
Nothing like a local beer to wash it down together in harmony ahhhhhh 😁

Honestly, we didn't know this was here. We were walking up Arbutus and there it was.
We haven't been to White Spot in such a long time so we tried it out, and it was the same as we remembered.
Sadly, we were seated directly across the washroom entrance which was unfortunate.
The food was expected -- mid. The Triple O sauce though -- still as good as ever.
If you like White Spot, you'd like it here.

If I can give 0 on this review I would as I didnt even get to sit down to order anything. Servers busy running away albeit the guest at the front clearly told them she was only picking up the food so they could attend us. Never knew it would take two servers to take turns in order to take a payment. Good job on exploiting tips.

The place has been in the neighborhood for decades. One of oldest white spot that we have been to. Food is average for white spot. Service is not bad.
Worst service we have ever had at a Whitespot. Waited 45 minutes for our food - long after others, who came in after us, were served - and actually left the restaurant just after we got our food! The servers forgot about us - we had to ask several times for the parts of our meals to be brought to the table. No one asked how the food was - no refills were offered on water, tea ( had to ask for milk for my tea - and the tea was cold by the time the milk was brought), no condiments brought to the table even after asking twice,- had to finally ask for our food to be brought to our table after a 45 minute wait. Two out of our four orders were partially wrong and we had to ask for the additional items - but had to wait for those so long that our meals were already cold! This is not the first time we have had bad service there- but it will absolutely be the last!

Our group of 20 showed up at 9pm on a Saturday night and we were all fed and paid up by 10 pm. Fantastic service and the food was delicious as expected.
This is my go to place for comfort food and drinks, must try their Thai coconut prawns and strawberry milkshake
