We just went in for a few things to round up for dinner. We got we needed and were done. Busy shoppers.

It’s a whole food. A bit small but friendly staff.

Not the greatest whole food in the city. It is very small with fewer selections of dairy and bread than Burnaby.

OMG.......what a find......Located just around the corner from our Airbnb, was this store one of two (produce stores) that were life savers due to the expensiveness of eating out in Vancouver, we absolutely loved the prepared foods, excellent value and so flavoursome, we were spoilt for choice.
Definitely the place to visit when on a strict budget.

I went in to check it out and saw that they do have really good produce and products. I also liked their selection on hot food.

Lots of local and organic options. I thought it would be expensive but they do have plenty of deals.

Lots of options for people with dietary differences it’s like basically a Trader joe’s, but just renamed Whole Foods

Pretty small but space is clean and organized

One of my preferred grocery stores.
Makes shopping simple. The store is clean, well-organized, and everything is where it should be. Their produce section is solid—fresh greens, berries, fruits—all look and taste like they should. A lot comes from the U.S., which I’m used to and trust when it comes to standards and classification.
It’s good to have that kind of quality here in Canada. I usually find everything I need, nothing feels random or low effort. Their ready-to-go meals are actually fresh and taste good—not just convenient. Yeah, it’s not cheap, but at least you know what you’re paying for.

Most people go to WholeFoods for groceries.
I go for dessert after dinner ♥️🤌🏻🍰

It might sounds unusual I know but hear me out. Generally after eating out with friends, we often skip the dessert menu at the restaurant and head straight to whole food instead.
It’s become a little ritual we do…

When you think about it, there’s no service table and per se no tipping. That may not seem like a big deal, but in a city where eating out adds up fast, it’s the detail that makes the difference.

Speaking about dessert, the options are genuinely impressive. As someone who works in pastry, I’m not amazed over that easily but Whole foods consistently delivers. From their cheesecakes, cookies or their tiramisu they’re always fulfilling their function… generosity, sweet, sugar rush… And that makes me the happiest man.

Though, obviously I don’t expecting fancy space and table but for what it is, a relax, tasty no pressure dessert stop between friends, it’s just kinda perfect.

So to finish, don’t forget that they close at 9” and I’m grateful to have them on west 4th avenue, in our beautiful neighbourhood that is Kitsilano.
