If Michelin people were ever in Vancouver. Wildebeast would start with 1 Star and likely improve to two stars next year. Better than a lot of Euro star restaurants without doubt.Food quality wise at least.Still Vancouver west coast so don’t expect that service level to be two star Michelin

We went to this restaurant, close by our hotel and had a wonderful evening during the "dine out" festival of Vancouver city. We sat at the bar and had an excellent 3 course meal for 45$ with paired wines (for an additional 19$ or 29$ depending on your onces request). Our party of 2 had a fish lover and a meat lover and both had a fantastic meal. There was a gluten free adaptation to the menu so that I was able to enjoy it. The iron flat steak was cooked and seasonned to perfection. Nothing to say more than : WOW! The service at the bar was friendly and each waiter really took the time to explain the options and selections. A really great evening in Vancouver!

Thoroughly enjoy this restaurant at every visit. The decor is fantastic, the welcome always warm and the food always prepared to a fantastic level. Great for date nights or that key business meeting - I’ve never had a negative experience from this business. I wish the staff and management all the very best during these difficult times.

What an experience! We chose the kitchens choice tasting menu and it was a DELIGHT! I've never felt so good about eating beef, and it was the first time I've tried an olive that I liked. The service was so perfect too. Can't wait to have a reason to treat myself and go back.

I was a bit take by the location of this place, just inside the outskirts of DTES. Walking in you would have never known it. This place is amazing, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. I had a really enjoyable evening there with my wife. I would not recommend going if you are a vegetarian or vegan and the sight of meat bothers you. I absolutely would recommend going if you enjoy unrestricted fine cuisine.

- winter squash benedict = $16 - 《Chungry Rating = 10/10》 First ever perfect score?! This was my first time ever trying Wildebeest and they did not disappoint in the slightest. Decor: Aesthetic. Atmosphere: Chill. Food: Astounding. I love brunch and I love a good eggs benedict, so I'm so glad I decided to give this dish a try because I never knew how delicious squash could be in this brunch classic. The sweetness of the winter squash puree worked so well with the rich, runny yolk from the perfectly poached eggs. I don't know if they whipped in some cheese or butter into the squash as well, but I could eat buckets of this stuff. Instead of an English muffin, it's on a toasted buttery biscuit, with hasselback potatoes and kale salad on the side. IT'S JUST SO GOOD!
