Wow! What an experience. What can I say? My dad just passed away and we were having a celebratory lunch with some of his colleagues and his husband and Chris took such amazing care of us. He set a place for my dad and even brought the empty seat his favourite drink. He paid every attention to detail and brought us all a devine dessert on the house. I will absolutely be back and will never forget his kindness for the rest of my life. Thank you so much to the entire team as the food was delicious and the compassion we got wil go unparalleled.

This was my first time in Vancouver and Wildlight was an amazing welcome to the city! The staff was incredibly welcoming and the food was fantastic, I’d recommend to anyone willing to make the trek out to UVC.

Highly recommend the duck dish - only place I’ve been too where they duck is rare to medium rare, and the skin is crispy. Everything else in the plate works very well with the entire dish.Drinks are decent and creative, and service is usually really good.Recently, had one of the best servers in general, for a restaurant. Was genuinely pleasant (not fake-nice) and very engaging.Only had a couple experiences, service wise, where I felt ignored, even when it was quiet there - but generally, all is good!

One of my favourite restaurants in the Lower Mainland. Worth the trek across the city. Great food, excellent service, and calm & relaxed ambiance. Celebrated a birthday and ALL of the staff were friendly and made it a welcoming/pleasant dining experience.The scallops and deep fried oyster mushrooms are delicious. Just a tad on the salty end for the risotto and the linguine was a bit pre-al dente, but the majority of the food was excellent. Definitely revisiting again.Free 2 hr parking located downstairs as well, which is a huge plus.

Took the family to Wildlight for a birthday dinner. The food was fantastic. We had the Miso SableFish, Celeriac Agnolotti, Hokkaido Scallops which were perfectly cooked and the flavours were amazing. I would recommend the Pescatarian Charcuterie Board, the smoked and cured fish was delicious, went well with the nori crackers! All of our dishes were great. Our server Penny was wonderful and gave us great recommendations.
