Great food, sandwiches are simple but delish and fresh. Matcha is amazing. One star less due to lack of public washroom. Hoping they can change this!

Started my morning with a visit to a quiet neighbourhood at W.16th St and Willow at my not-so-usual place, Willow Cafe; everyone is there because of something special, perhaps the sweet scent of baked goods, the friendly coffee connoisseur (boss, perhaps), or the off-the-hook prices for fav drinks and snacks. Small story short, I am glad I stopped by after waiting 30 mins for bus route #33 on a rainy Saturday late morning. Thanks :)

Great powerboats. Not too sweet and they're super tasty.

I think my cinnamon bun was supposed to have icing on it but I was too scared to say anything because the guy seemed annoyed. I won’t be back only because of the service. The food itself was pretty good and the coffee was also good but it wasn’t a good experience or vibe. Guy didn’t feel like answering my questions , I was clearly not wanted there.

Charming local gem best known for its freshly made pastries and warm, laid-back atmosphere. If you're after homemade-style croissants, cookies, muffins, and scones, this is a good choice.
I visited close to closing time. The server was welcoming and the service was very fast.

Not sure if the person manning the counter is having a bad day or something but my cookie was practically tossed across the counter to me. And our 3-minute interaction from start to finish was me asking one question and him banging on the lids and making an other noises to show me what they had on the menu. I would’ve happily left if he told me he didn’t want to serve me but instead resorted to passive aggressiveness. It’s quite a shame as I didn’t mind stopping by again to try some other goods. Disrespect is normally free and I would hate to have to pay for that too. Maybe work on being more professional.

Super lovely little spot. Really spacious and a great spot to work and enjoy the community vibes :) I always bring people here because it feels like a small town cafe. Tucked away on a quieter street surrounded by trees and greenery. Owner is always friendly and clearly a spot that has a lot of regulars which speaks volumes. I'll be back plenty!!
