Tried this Vietnamese pho spot today and overall it was quite nice! The chicken was tender and flavorful, but what really stood out was the chili super fragrant, aromatic, and added just the right kick without being overpowering. You can tell they make their chili oil fresh; it really elevates the whole dish! 🌶️✨
The broth was light yet comforting, not too salty, and paired nicely with the bean sprouts and fresh herbs. Everything tasted clean and simple, which I appreciated.
The space, however, felt a bit cramped and busy they even placed a table right by the entrance, which wasn’t very comfortable. Fortunately, the staff helped me switch seats right away.
The service was just average not particularly warm or attentive, but not bad either.
Overall, it’s a good spot for a quick, satisfying pho after work. Nothing fancy, just cozy and flavorful comfort food. 🍜

Atmosphere was nice, gluten free options were clear on the menu. Food came out quickly. We had the Vietnamese Coffee with the salted cream which was great. We split the short ribs and the steak and brisket soup and it was the perfect ammount of food for 2. Highly recommend for the price vs quality vs service.

Absolutely love this place! The pho is always delicious and consistent, with super generous portions. The staff are so friendly, and the owner is honestly the sweetest. It’s definitely my go-to spot whenever I’m craving pho — totally worth the drive from Chilliwack!

I had lemon grass chicken pho and it was really good. That was my first time visiting the store last week. I had some spring rolls as well that’s served in a basket, great presentation. Location is pretty good, easy to access.

I really liked the pho but came here a few weeks ago and about a half hour after eating once I had left I almost crapped my pants on Broadway! A bit too authentic southeast asian food if I’m getting food poisoning from it 🤣 anyway it’s made me too scared to come back. Really a shame cause it tastes great

Halal Asian food options in Vancouver are so limited, which is why I’m so happy that this restaurant offers halal choices! I met up with some friends to break my fast, and after a whole day of not eating or drinking it did not disappoint.
One of my friends had never tried pho before since she only eats halal, and she absolutely loved it. The spring rolls were incredible! So good that I didn’t even get a chance to take pictures because I was too busy devouring them 😂

We had an amazing lunch here a couple days ago. Great customer service from staff, it wasn't busy for a Friday afternoon. The pho and lemongrass chicken were tasty, fulfilling and the portions were more than enough. This place also offers halal and vegetarian options!

Falsely Accused and Disrespected — Completely Unacceptable
We drove five hours to dine at Xin Chào, a place we’ve visited for years, and were shocked by the treatment we received. After politely asking to move tables for comfort, two female servers assisted us. Moments later, another staff member confronted us rudely, accused us of moving the tables ourselves, and said, “I’m glad you’re comfortable when everyone else is clearly not.” When we calmly tried to explain, she added, “We already serve halal food to accommodate minority groups.”
Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. We left without eating — terrible service and attitude.
Absolute worst experience ever, workers were disrespectful and unaccommodating. I asked if it was fine if we can move tables just because we wanted a more private table for my niqabi sisters. Two workers said it was fine and helped us move, as we sat a third worker came, started being disrespectful and HURLING INSULTS at us because we “moved tables without permission”. They told us we were making everyone uncomfortable and accused us of moving tables on our own. They have halal options but don’t accommodate for muslims. Overall honestly it felt like we were discriminated against and disrespected, i didn’t even stay for the food and got up and left.

I came in with a party of five and politely requested a more private seating area after already being seated since we are a Muslim family with young children. The server agreed and even moved the tables for us. However, shortly after we were seated, the manager approached us in a very passive-aggressive and rude manner, asking why we moved the tables — even though their own staff had done it with no issue.
We remained respectful and even thanked the manager, but their response was shocking. They said, “I’m glad you’re comfortable because you made everyone else uncomfortable.” Hearing that as a minority family simply asking for a reasonable accommodation was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
This kind of treatment makes it very clear that Muslim customers are not welcomed or made to feel comfortable here. Absolutely unacceptable customer service.
