If I had an option, I would give 10 stars to Helen and hubby team. Such a sumptuous strawberry mousse cake. The texture of the sponge cake was meltingly soft. Fresh sweet tangy strawberries were a cherry on the pie. Not to forget the surprise stuffing of pineapple that gave an exotic touch to the cake. Helen’s suggestion, especially knowing how yummy the cake is gonna be, was so close to perfect. If I had ordered even an inch smaller, we all would be left craving for more. Last but not the least, Mr. Yan is incredible not just with preparing such amazing cakes but he is also writes beautifully on the cakes. His handwriting on the cakes is not a skill in English or chinese languages only, but also he did an amazing job writing those in an Indian language…!! Helen was very patiently, rather enthusiastically involved in sending me a sample picture of the writing to make sure I like it before they finalize it. From now on whether big or small, our cakes are only coming from Yan Bakery. 💕🎂

Yans Bakery is a neighborhood staple, been around since I was a kid and still the same owner and she is so great and kind and just focuses on delicious cakes. Got the Mango Cake for a friend's birthday and it was so delicious, soft and the Mangos were fresh and sweet.

Ordered 2 cakes, fresh mango and durian cake. Both were absolutely amazing - but the winner hands down was the fresh durian cake. Helen also personally delivered the cake to the restaurant as we were not able to pick up prior. Amazing service and responsiveness - will definitely re-order in the future. Thanks Yan Bakery!

Just passed by and got a strawberry birthday cake for our son. It’s about $50-$60 for this strawberry chiffon. We just added some macaroon toppings and there we go. I’m giving 5* for the kind owner Mrs.Yan and because the cake chiffon taste good.
The best cake I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious, and exactly what I wanted! Service was fantastic! Helen is so lovely and accommodating, she is such a great person to chat to as well. Thank you so much! I’ll be back every time I need a cake!

I forgot to call ahead to place an order so I thought I’d walk in and see if they have any cakes readily available. They didn’t have any readily available and said it will take about 15 minutes - I was in a rush for my appointment so I couldn’t wait…. The owner offered to deliver my cake later in the day at NO COST/FREE.

I have been getting my cakes here for a majority of my life. If I can’t get my cake from here, I will NOT get any cake at all. My late grandmother Norah introduced me to this place in the late 2000’s. I’ve been hooked ever since. My favourite thing to ask for is chocolate butterflies because butterflies remind me of my late grandmother. I cannot recommend Yan Bakery enough, they are the best!
