I called to inquire about availability and the person who answered said we are fully booked. Didn’t offer another time or date, nor did she politely say bye.

Solid dinning experience. Good seafood presented elegantly in a spacious area. Service was excellent. Drinks selection and cocktails also very good.

Nice seafood bar and restaurant inside the Four Seasons Hotel. We ordered the seafood pot for 2 people 80CAD) very fresh but don't be fooled, mostly potatoes and small clams at the bottom to make it look big but they were great. Also the sauce was impressive as you could tell they must have put in a lot of butter.

Normally it is routinely a 5 star review. This afternoon they were slammed with a function in their ballroom and we waited 45+ min for our meal. When it came, everything came out at once: appies and mains which meant our food got cold. Unfortunately our meals were under seasoned. Staff recognized the issues and was apologetic before we raised the issues. So that was a good recovery.

A great place for seafood. The grilled octopus was a much smaller portion than I imagined. Their take on a black forest cake was definitely different. The bartenders were great to chat with while sitting at the bar.

Had only breakfast so far. I would like to say the food is well executed with healthy and delicacy in mind. It is a bit pricy but the vibe, the service would worth it. Since I'm staying in for a business trip, it is a bit of a hustle of people while dinning.

Would have to say our special meal night out at the Yew restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, came with an expectation of something really special, but have to admit the food we had here was at best Mediocre. Tasteless and small appetizers and bland main courses (Lobster Thermador) made this experience a big disappointment. (Pasty sauce and rubbery small portion of lobster) For the top dollar you could pay in this establishment for a meal for two, ($350 tax and tip included in our case) you should get inching toward spectacular. Unfortunately, not so at Yew. Good points: The service was flawless, nice selection of wines, and coffee and comp dessert after our meal (our anniversary) was very pleasant. I would say for this kind of cash outlay for dinner out for two, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Has breakfast here both mornings I was in Vancouver and enjoyed it both times. Ordered a la carte from the menu but they also had a breakfast buffet. The crab frittata was good but could have used a few more potatoes on the side. French toast was decent and the berries and cream were good. Who doesn't like fresh whipped cream with strawberries and blueberries in the morning? Overall a nice place to eat breakfast.

Had the halibut. It was good, not great. This is a good place where you won't be embarrassed when hosting a business function. Price is a little high for my taste buds.

Very nice place. Good atmosphere and good service. Oyster and cooked fish are great.

This is a bit more upscale than I'm used to for lunch but once in a while you have to do it and, in this case, it was nice to just get away from the crowds. I was looking for a light option so I went with the cobb and lobster. Light it was, tasty it was, perfect it was. I know there might not be a lot to this dish but sometimes simple is just good.

Let me start with this. The service was great.... n they have a decent wine list as well. That's where the buck stops. The Food is in my opinion is god awful. Dishes were bland cost was outrageous for what you got. My main course was the seafood pot. 84 dollars. It was a bag of potatoes, 10 clams, 1/2 lobster, and 3 shrimp. Think about that. Clams were way over cooked and un-edible. Shrimp were frozen not fresh. Lobster was rubbery. Thank god the sauce was ok so I could have my white bread with that. Even the bread was bad. My partners dish was over cooked as well. Stay at home. Or find somewhere that the chef can cook. Top 3 worst restaurants I have stepped into.

Finest food, very nice employees, always awesome ambience. They charge convenient pricing and the food quality is good. Great work.

They have one of the best halibut's in vancouver. They used to have the best lobster roll too but I havn't seen that on the menu for some time now. Their brunch is not bad but nothing outstanding or groundbreaking. If they were on street level I think they would be busier but it's hidden inside the hidden four seasons hotel which is unfortunate.
