We ordered a peach tea with bubbles and no ice. We literally saw the young lady pour tea (drained through ice) to 2/3 cup, and then fill the remaining 1/3 with tap water from the sink faucet! Bubble tea diluted by tap water is not something you want to have. The young lady also had to ration the few spoonfuls of bubbles she had left. No desperation for bubble tea will bring us back here.
probably the worst bubble tea i’ve ever tried. i got the strawberry milk slush with milk foam and taro pearls (in store). i don’t know what happened to the drink, but it was barely even a slush and all of the ice was melted into the drink. my drink was basically completely watered down from the ice. i don’t even know how watery it would’ve been if i didn’t add milk foam into it. the drink itself was really sour and gross. the taro balls were ok but the drink ruined it. not to mention this drink was $10. at macu tea or almost any decent boba place you can get a fruit tea filled with toppings for less than $8.
not to mention, in a lot of the reviews they have yifang cups so i thought this place would be the same as yifang. it is definitely not, and they give you cheap plastic cups to drink out of even though the boba is extremely expensive. i really really do not recommend coming to this place, i feel completely scammed.
they changed their size for teas to at least 40% less than what they used to be but still charge the same price they used to (over 8 dollars after tax) for this tiny size and didn’t even tell customers that their sizes have changed
Edit for response: I’ve been coming here regularly for 8 months, and no one has ever once asked me what size I want when I order, or informed me that there were multiple options, including the last time I went when I was charged the same price for a smaller size. It also isn’t advertised in your store. And if you “need” to start charging more for your items, you should inform your customers when they order or have it posted on your menu, otherwise it’s deceptive and shady
good food
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! Dude at the counter had no idea what items were on the menu, took ages to make my order. I ended up waiting over 15 minutes to get one single drink, even though I was the only person in the store. Was not worth the $8 I spent... I expected a bubble tea place to have boba (they don't), but I guess tapioca only is fine. Last time I come here!
Ordered Mango Pomelo Sage Slush. Not enough mango flavour and mango cubes, if any. Sago was undercooked.
The milk tea from Yifang's original store has not changed, but it seems to be a fusion with a barbecue rice. I ordered the brown sugar pearl milk tea that I loved before, and then also tried a spicy cabbage roasted pork belly and a rice that tasted quite good. The spicy cabbage and shredded potatoes were paired with it. YYDS
My friends and I visited this shop last Sunday, we ordered different kind of drinks. It is unexpected good and delicious. We have chit chat with their staff and learned that they are new opening recently. They have provided variety of HK, Taiwan and local drinks, we like the HK style of drinks, maybe we have home sick reason. Thanks for this special moment and let us go back to our beautiful memories!
Surely we will visit again!
This bubble tea place changed hands from the old Yifang store. Went in for a hot red date tea. Waited 15 minutes and when asked they said need another 5 mins. Which I might have believed if not for the very poor and unfriendly service. Walked out. Sad. Won’t be going back but luckily a new place open up a block away on 10th.
Have been going to this place for 5 years ever since it opened and I'm honestly so disappointed by how it gets worse and worse. When it first opened, it absolutely amazed me and was the best bubble tea I've ever tried. Now it smells disgusting like body odour, my bubble tea tasted like that too with the new menu BBQ smell and couldn't even drink half of it. The sausage I got was overly greasy and had the same disgusting smell. The employee was sweet but smelled awful to be honest and I question the sanitation of this place. It's honestly so sad to see how a business I loved for 5 years starts going downhill. I genuinely hope that they get better, as the smell there was absolutely unacceptable to me. They started becoming understaffed and started hiring people that doesn't care about their job the past 2 years. Some staffs were rude and looked so tired too. Wouldn't come back here.. sadly.

Poor administration and improperly trained staff. Uses ingredients long past expiration dates. I have seen ants and rats in the kitchen.

Terrible service. No lineup and 5 employees. Nobody bothered to take my order. They just looked at me and never acknowledged my existence. Waited at least 10 minutes like this. Even after I said “could I order”? They just continued to ignore me.

I feel I got diabetes after the first sip. 70% sugar feels like drinking syrup directly.

The most recent review for this branch said their drink tasted of BBQ flavor. I ordered a drink in person and can comment further on this “BBQ” flavor. It was very stuffy in the store and there was a pungent odour (I can best describe as BAD body odour). I think the BBQ flavor may be due to the odor in the store. Interesting.
the staffs were really rude and didn’t even know how to say sorry after making mistakes
