Food was okay but the service was good. Mac & cheese those was delicious 😋 I just wish their buns were warmed up or grilled a bit.

I just googled a place that sells cornbread. When I pulled up, the guy was just coming out of the smoker with the brisket. So I bought some brisket.
It was delicious, I took it home and made a sandwich out of it. I will go back and check out some other items, but the brisket was delicious.

Fantastic food and service from Rick who catered our event! Rick was very easy to work with, had great communication and also went above and beyond to deliver the food and also provided pick up and clean up service afterwards as well. His food was so delicious, there was nothing left by the time the returned for clean up! Highly recommend. Thanks for everything Rick!!

PROCEED WITH CAUTION Booked a block party in Burnaby after Yo Bones told me they would be there. I've used them for a few years and their staff are great.
HOWEVER - this year they did not show up. Half the people at the block party left early to get food somewhere else. Mistakes happen, HOWEVER they did not return any of my calls and are now ghosting me even as I try and book them for next year.

We love Yo-Bones BBQ and it’s become a go to place to order yummy dinners from. Pulled pork mac and cheese and the cornbread peach cobbler are so delicious. The owner Rick is fantastic and when our delivery driver left before grabbing our dessert he drove it down to our house and then some to make it right! Amazing customer service, which truly is hard to come by these days!

Yo-Bones catered a wedding for us in July, 2025. We selected Yo-Bones because Rick was accommodating, he said he would take care of everything from setup to cleanup, and he was easy to work with. We weren't disappointed; Rick did all the things he said he would do.
For the menu, we had a buffet including salmon, pulled pork, beef brisket, potatoes, mac and cheese, Caesar salad, corn bread and rolls, followed by an assortment of pies for dessert. He also provided vegan options for the guests that required it. All were excellent and the guests enjoyed the dinner.
We would highly recommend Yo-Bones BBQ Catering.

This review is for the food truck at the Rise FC game. The classic mac and cheese was terrible. It was very mushy and flavourless. This review should be one star but I am giving it three because of the employee's superior customer service skills.

I’ll start with the good… Cornbread was real yummy, and the potato salad was fairly decent. But the pulled pork sandwich was disappointingly dry, with barely any sauce. The bun was good, but dry bread with dry pork and no sauce made for a sad sandwich. I think I just got unlucky with my order today because most of the reviews seem to be positive.

Ordered from here through UberEats we got the family meal plus we added ribs to the order. If we do this again probably get the family deal without the addition or ribs.
The Brisket was amazing literally falling apart nicely flavored. The ribs were also amazing as well as the pulled pork. We also got the sliders came with 2 of each pulled Pork slider and Brisket slider.
The BBQ sauce which you will definitely want extra of is amazing. Smokey, tangy, sweet. The beans are great as we're the macaroni. The coleslaw was amazing. The potato salad was average.
I may order from here in the future for another special occasion.
