Ordered a seafood pancake - no seafood but lots of onions ; inside was raw batter … the sauce they provided for the seafood pancake was super salty too.
Def will not recommend.

Ordered seafood tofu soup on uber eats.
The name of the food is “seafood tofu soup”, not just “spicy tofu soup”. Only two thumb sized shrimps and one mussel were in it. It was my first time ordering from here, and will never order here again.

Ordered from Ubereats yesterday.
No gochujang sauce for bibimbap! It’s tasteless without sauce.
The seafood soondudu is just one shrimp, one clam, the rest are tofu.
It was one of my favourite restaurant but it’s getting worse, or it’s just from delivery?
I won’t order again or dine in!

An Unforgettable Experience at Yook Korean Restaurant

Yook Korean Restaurant delivers an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by warm, professional hostesses who make you feel right at home. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between modern and traditional, setting the stage for what’s to come. Service here is on another level, they're attentive without being intrusive, with staff who are knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely care that you’re having a great time. The server took time to explain dishes, made thoughtful recommendations, and checked in at all the right moments. It’s clear the entire team from front of house to kitchen, runs like a well-oiled machine, and the atmosphere feels calm, confident, and welcoming.

Now to the real star: the food. Every dish was prepared with precision, flavor, and authenticity. The grilled meats were tender and juicy, seasoned to perfection, and the side dishes (banchan) were incredibly fresh and well-balanced. The kimchi had the perfect kick, and each plate arrived hot and beautifully presented. You can tell the chefs take real pride in their work—nothing felt rushed or mass-produced. Whether you’re new to Korean cuisine or a longtime fan, Yook hits all the right notes. It’s rare to find a spot that nails great food, excellent service, and a welcoming vibe all at once, but Yook does it effortlessly. Easily one of the best Korean restaurants in the city, hands down

Context: Order was takeout - I'm 10 min away from this location. This was the second time we've ordered. Just absolute wow... possibly the worse Korean bbq I've had in ages. The first time we ordered the galbi jjim, we thought it was mediocre but at least edible. This time around was a revelation: as if an inexperienced chef was taking the reins. The beef bulgogi was soggy with watery broth and looked boiled, instead of the grilled look as shown in their menu. The oddest thing is that the beef was soaking in watery juice but was somehow dry - it took effort for me to swallow the beef as it scraped its way down my throat. The galbi jjim was shockingly undercooked... the ribs were chewy and sinewy. They should have been fall off the bones tender. Instead it was like a baseball glove leather simmering in admittedly nice stewing sauce. The best part of their dishes are the sides (the rice, the tofu, kimchi and daikon) - that ain't right. The place was dead... this should have been a slam dunk. This was so not worth $100. Awful

This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Vancouver.
The food quality is very good and the servers are friendly, so if I had a lot of money, I would visit often.
The price is reasonable and it is a house that will not fail no matter who takes it 👍👍

Ordered through ubereat and we ordered seafood soondubu jjigae and the only seafood in the soup were just 2 shrimps and one mussel... we were very disappointed.

The first thing that stood out for our dinner visit was the very attentive and amazing customer service. Everyone was very friendly, took time to explain the menu, and continuously throughout the evening provided great service. The food was also delicious, very flavorful and good quality ingredients. Would highly recommend. Was a great date night out.
