I had a very pleasant dining experience here. The handmade noodles were exceptional, full of flavor and texture. The restaurant had a bright yet cozy vibe, with a local, authentic feel. The staff were kind and tried their best to assist with a smile, even if their English was limited—which, in my experience, often means the food is the real deal, and it definitely was. Prices are also very reasonable. I'd say, come try their noodles—they’re really good!
Decent food and good service. The place is a bit old and rundown.
The best. THEE BEST! For the best fresh cutting/dragging/noodles I have ever eaten in North America or Asia (I haven’t been to China, but… Taiwan, Korea, Japan, etc), this is the place.
And their fist-sized pan-fried dumplings are divine as are the green onion pancakes and the…
Vegetarians can eat very well here and there is good stuff for vegans, too.
It is very clean and well run.
So sad that so many in Vancouver are oblivious to this gem but I am glad that the lines at its early predecessor Shao Lin are less frequent here, for selfish reasons.
Vancouver, support this gem and EAT HERE! Yuuuummmmmm.
Sketchy from the outside, the service is not great the lady who serve us is very rude, not very professional, we don’t feel welcome but The food is good though.
We were just here tonight and the food was amazing. However, the server, especially the younger server has no clue what customer service is. She was extremely rude. I would recommend the food but not the service!
Super traditional chinese restaurant specializing in noodles of all kinds. Hand pulled, cutting style, stewed, xian style, it’s all here. Soup noodle, fried noodle, dandan, stews, sauces. Dumplings. Traditional taste. Amazing handmade textures. Atmosphere is plain and nondescript, but food is extra good. Will return.
Authentic food, good portions and friendly staff.
Super tasty chinese classics that come out of the kitchen at lightning speed. The xinjiang noodles and the disanxian were top notch. The waitress was super nice and caring also.
Yummy old school shanghainese style food. Friendly staff and good portion.
Handmade noodles are 10/10. Other things could use improvement but not bad at all! Efficient service, excellent quality.

Really good food
Quite busy and short staff. Expect a wait. Space is rather small too.
Food wise what we liked was the fillings of things. E.g the filling of the soup dumpling and of the chive buns. However the dumpling skin was quite thick. Noodles (zhajiang, dandan) were good. The egg tomato one was abit bland. Def needed some pepper or chillioil to spice it up.
Soymilk was fine but def packaged from the fridge.
Beef rolls were good but a tad bit sweet. We wanted to try their pan fried dumplings but they said it would take 30 mins? For fried dumplings?
Prices are good tho! Portions are generous
Great hidden gem on Fraser for Chinese handmade noodles! Their dumplings are awesome too. Service is attentive and prices are reasonable… wish we knew about this place sooner!
Freshly hand made noodles!
Best noodles I've ever had.
