Impressive selection of incredibly fresh and tasty sashimi. The variety was excellent, and each piece spoke to the quality of the fish. The uni sushi was a particular highlight. Beyond the exceptional food, the friendly chef created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. For the quality and freshness offered, Yuji's provides great value for money. It's clear they take pride in sourcing excellent fish, making it a must-visit for sashimi lovers.

Amazing Sashimi and sushi. It's pricy but it worthy. If you want to enjoy real Sashimi, strongly recomend👍

Small one man band sushi bar with excellent fresh fish. Neighbourhood vibes.

Lovely izakaya place with delicious food. Went here for omakase! Itamae-san (chef) is also a delight to be around. A small but inviting place.

A place that never disappoints. Would usually like to get their assorted nigiri. The chicken is also really good

We had a great dinner at Yuji's. The atmosphere is intimate and quiet, the service was excellent, and the food was amazing. There was so much selection, everything looked so appealing, and every morsel was delicious. I'm looking forward to my next meal there.

Mediocre. The gindara was quite good. The assorted sashimi is listed at $60 on the website menu, but is in fact $70 for a relatively small serving. Watercress gomae was very good, and an innovative twist. The Tuna Salmon Wasabi Tempura and the pork cutlet disappointed. The young servers were polite but the owner behind the sushi bar was unfriendly.

Love the ambience inside and the mushroom salad, hotpot, and sushi were all delicious!

Delicious fresh fish. One of if not the best spot in Vancouver for traditional Japanese sushi and sashimi.

The food is ok. We tried Yugi's assorted sashimi. $60 for 16 selected pieces seemed like a pretty good deal, but it turns out they are quite small. Some of them were great, others had a weird bite to them, almost crunchy. The mushroom tempura was not good, they were very chewy. The tempura yam and avocado roll was so-so; it was disappointing to see it didn't actually come with yam, but some other kind of sweet potato that was not flavorful. The dragon roll was alright.

The service is very friendly and all the food came out very quickly. The ambience feels rustic and traditional.

At $111 for two, I'd expect better-quality food.

Chef/manager yelling at a customer??? Quite scary the lack of respect and that a chef thinks it’s okay to yell at someone in his dining room. I love sushi and the fish is high quality. I came here to try new menu items outside of the ones I love (salmon, tuna, yllw tail, eel, uni, ama ebi, scallops…) and was literally told by the server to “not come to a sushi restaurant unless I know my fish” because I hadn’t tried their specials in the past. If you want long wait times and bad service the fish is good but there’s a lot of good fish in Vancouver ….
