Aug 31/25: It's been quite a while since I've been back, but as soon as I came through the doors, one of the owners remembered me! She was as sweet as I last remembered, and she let me know the other wonderful owner, the chef, accommodated my food request, which I really appreciate.
The food is also still as I remembered —delicious, fresh, and high in quality. I will be back sooner for sure! (We had dynamite combo and gomae.)

The freshest and best sushi I’ve had in Vancouver period.
A small predominantly pick up place ran by a duo, but if you want the sushi fresh I EXTREMELY recommend coming here in person.
Some of the freshest uni/ingredients in all of Vancouver, and the sushi making skills is extremely on point.
Please come here if you are ever in the area. This place is amazing.

If you want to dine here, save your time and just don’t come here. Been wanting to try this place for a few times now. Every time I walk in, they say it’s take out only that day. Today I called during lunch time to ask if they were allowing dine in for dinner and they said yes, but it’s first come first serve. I arrived 5:30pm and the lady told me it’s take out only again. My whole family was turned away once again AFTER getting confirmation the same day that they were allowing dine out.

If you want fresh authentic Japanese sushi, you have to try Yuki Cafe. The fish is so fresh and tender (it’s flown in from Japan). We had the omakase combo, aburi salmon toro trio, house roll, and the aburi engawa. The aburi salmon toro trio is probably the best sushi I’ve ever had. The fish just melts in your mouth and the variety of flavours don’t overpower the fish. The house roll was also unique as they use shiso leaves which adds another layer of freshness.
The cafe has two tables and a bar so you may have to wait if it’s full. But they do take out and you can order online. There is only one sushi chef and if it’s busy with online orders they will let you know how long it will take for your order which we were grateful for. They also have books you can enjoy while you wait. The cafe ambience is also welcoming with Japanese trinkets and little plants. Will definitely go back.

Very charming little Japanese sushi establishment that offers takeout and limited dine in (they only have 2 tables). Friendly service and an assortment of pretty special offerings like engawa, tsubugai, and anago (while supplies last). Sushi here is fantastic and the anago in particular, was exceptional. Their vegetable udon that we also ordered was in a delicious kombu broth that my son pretty much finished -- which means it's great. Recommended.
