Food was prepared fast and fresh on site. Friendly staff. Interior is alright, but if the weather is nice just take it to go and eat at the beach.

The food at Yummy To Go on Davie Street is excellent – fresh flavors, generous portions, and fair prices. A great spot for Japanese food lovers.
However, there’s a major issue: they added a 5% surcharge when I paid with an IQ Bank prepaid card, which is not allowed in Canada since debit and prepaid cards cannot be surcharged. When I confronted the cashier, he said he has been working with credit cards for over 20 years and “knows how it works,” but that doesn’t change the fact that this practice is not compliant with the rules.
Fantastic food, but customers should be aware of this unfair extra charge.

Had a very unpleasant experience. I called to order a party tray of sushi for takeout, and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived 45 minutes later, only to be told it hadn’t even been started. When I expressed my frustration, they said they wouldn’t be making it at all. I didn’t have time to wait over an hour, and their attitude was unexpectedly rude. Very disappointing service—I won’t be ordering from here again.

One of the best sushi spots I’ve been to! The fish was incredibly fresh, and everything was beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about quality and detail from the perfectly seasoned rice to the creative rolls and sashimi cuts. The service was friendly and attentive without being rushed, and the atmosphere was clean, calm, and welcoming. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just trying it out, this place is a must-visit.
