Everything was excellent, food, drinks and service. The only complaint I would have is that we felt a little rushed. They have a two hour limit. We booked late so as not to be rushed. We spent $283 with tip and would have spent more had we been given the time. They did give us a free dessert for our anniversary. We loved it but would like to have lingered more.

We had our year end holiday party at Zarak and our group enjoyed the dining experience. The restaurant was able to accommodate dietary restrictions for our group. The food portions were well plated and everyone had enough to share. The food flavors were just right and we loved the chicken kebab the most. Host Zabi and server Kathrina were great! They were attentive and helpful all night! We find out that some of us did not try the beets and burrata salad, and Zabi got on it right away and provide us with another portion, so our guests were able to enjoy this wonderful salad! I would definitely come back to Zarak again to try other dishes, with friends and family. Happy that we selected a great choice this year!

Wonnnddderful food and service. One of the best meals I've had in years. My boyfriend and I even have dairy and gluten intolerances and they were able to accommodate with lots of delicious options. 100% recommend!! 😊

Overall it was a meh experience. First, we had to wait in a cramped space for 20 minutes to be seated despite being on time for our booking. Second, our main dishes (lamb shank and beef cheeks) were both pretty chewy and dry, and could have more flavour variety.

Zarak is by far, one of most favorite restaurants in Vancouver. I've dined here many times but this is the first time I had BRUNCH! FOOD: Cumin Fried Rice, King Oyster Mushroom, Leek, Sesame Aioli, Fried Egg (gf) : with an order of an extra egg and some avocado: so we can share! “The Brick” Stuffed French Toast, Spiced Apricot Mascarpone, Seasonal Fruit Compote, Candied Pistachio This was a CULINARY celebration complete with imaginary fireworks! I highly recommend a savory and a sweet to share! SERVICE: Completely and consistently, OUTSTANDING. They must train their staff exquisitely as each plate was placed silently onto the table, smooth and conscientious movements of each staff member that resulted in a calm and grounded environment. This place was packed and that is a good sign of a winning strategy....great food, great service. ENJOY! ~Tanya ~

would be helpful to identify all major ingredients on the brunch menu - no yogurt was mentioned for my dish but I'm lactose-intolerant some in our party also found that the stuffed French toast could've used more stuffing

My bf and I had the best date here the other night. The staff is absolutely incredible, probably the best service I’ve received in the city. The cocktails are amazing - the margarita is a must try. The food was so flavourful and the cardamon rose ice cream was a cherry on top of a fantastic experience.
