Make sure to double check your purchases. I got the smoked olives today and was charged for Parmesan, which is more expensive. I didn’t notice until I was home. You can see the label on the container clearly is the wrong item. I been coming to Zara for years because they have great olives. It’s disappointing to see occurrences like this happen.

Really food Italian Meats, Cheeses and Olives. We made some delicious Italian sandwiches for a buffet. They had a great selection of fresh pasta and sauces too, which we didn't get chance to try.

I made delicious bucatini all’Amatriciana and fettuccine Alfredo from buying the fresh pasta at Zara’s. The friendly staff showed me which sauces to pair their pasta with and gave some nice recommendations about their best sellers.

Awesome pasta, we bought spaghetti, linguine and fettuccine. Took them back to CA and still taste fantastic after 2 weeks! The cooking instructions were spot on as well. Great stuff.

Would like to give 0 stars ? I observed the owner of this store staring at the women who work for him in a very misogynist way many times. Apart from him there is only young female staff, which he seems to enjoy way too much. This should not be supported by any customer!

Fresh pasta is awesome and it’s even better when you get it from professionals who know everything about it.Zara offers a very good variety of fresh pasta and ravioli with all different kinds of sauce that goes well with each one.Staff are nice and answer all questions very patiently.You can also get different kinds of olives here.

We received thoughtful advice on a variety of olive oils and basalmic vinegars. The woman who spoke to us was well informed about the features and taste profile of each item. We are pleased with the choices we made which support small family run businesses.

As far as fresh pasta goes in Vancouver, this place has the best spinach ricotta ravioli. Can’t really speak to the other pastas, but have tried the spinach ricotta ravioli at other places and it’s not comparable.
