One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Persian restaurant! The food was completely bland, as if they hadn’t used any spices or even salt. It tasted like it was made by someone who didn’t know Persian cuisine at all, and it didn’t seem fresh either. The salad portion was large but also not fresh.
On top of that, I overheard the table behind me complaining that their chicken dish was cold, and the waitress prepared a new one. The only positive thing was the waitress herself, who was pleasant, but everything else missed the mark. I really hope the owner considers hiring a skilled chef and putting more care into the customer experience.

Food: We ordered the share platter for two, which included two koobideh kebabs, one barg kebab, and one chicken kebab. The barg kebab was incredibly disappointing—the meat quality, the cut, and overall preparation were far below expectations. It was the WORST barg kebab I’ve ever had.

Never again i will not going back. we order Soltani and Bakhtiari kabab is really is bad . Kabab barg for soltani it’s hard meet just marinated with the kiwi to make it soft meat, I said I want my kobideh well done but still middle of my kebab is red same thing in Bakhtiary Kabab please respect the customer , For the price they charging it’s not work.

I order from Zeitoon most of the time, and I have to say they have the best rice! Whenever I’m craving rice, Zeitoon is my first choice. I tried their Joojeh Kabab a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve already ordered it 2 or 3 times since! If you’re in downtown Toronto and looking for the best Joojeh Kabab, Zeitoon is definitely the place to go.

I have been buying food from here for almost two years, it is really good for the price and quality ,
I love eating here. The staff is so friendly. They are working so hard. When I ask something, they are doing so fast. I love this behaviour. Also food quality is better than other restaurants around. The dessert eas soooo good with tea. Dessert was hot and I liked that. I tried all of them but here is better. And the environment is so good. I will deffinetly come back. Thank you for eveything and being unique.

We came here a few times when I last lived in Vancouver between 2009 and 2013 and I loved it.
When we move here again in early 2023, I’m glad to see that it’s still there and the assistant to my real estate agent who is Persian and speaks Persian also recommends the restaurant.
The 4 of us came here for lunch during the week around noon a couple of weeks ago. My kubideh was still just as good as I remember. The kebab was charred well. My husband and friends had other beef, lamb and chicken dishes and they were all delicious according to them. Everyone was given plentiful of rice to go with the meat.

I visited Zeitoon before Covid but I totally forgot about it! I did recall the food and portions were great so we went for dinner yesterday and I was happy to learn that their food is still as good! (I had a picky eater friend) who loved the food!
We both had the Koobideh logmeh with Sangak bread and I still crave it until today! We had few appetizers like the hummus (was good) stuffed grape leaves (was okay) cucumber and yogurt (was good) and the “Sangak bread” they served with the appetizers was toasted to perfection!
Service was decent and food was served quick although the restaurant was bit busy. Overall I enjoyed the food a lot and surely will be visiting again!
