Being a visitor to Vernon,I had to go to to this Laundry Place.NOT IMPRESSED!.The employees are very RUDE , and watch you put every item in the Machines. They need a course in customer service, and how not to talk down to clients. It might b easier to buy new clothes as the cost of laundry at this place is higher than most.

$30 for two loads of laundry and not even polite. Pushy and controlling and surprised to find out bathroom key wasn't for rent!

Aloha Laundry was my 199th restaurant, eatery, and cafe within Vernon.

I can't comment on the laundry service as I was strictly here for the café experience.

They have a café area completely sectioned off from the rest of the laundromat with about six small tables.

They offer some sort of premade orange bubble tea that is supplied by the local business Simplee Boba. I have spent over a year total traveling through East Asia and had a tough time being able to fathom those pre-made cups being converted into legit high end bubble tea.

I decided to go with a caramel freeze 360 iced latte drink that is made in house.

It cost $5.75 after tax.

I thought it tasted fine given the size and price.

The employees here seemed to be working really hard.

I used to work on this street inside Wholesale for six years and can respect the hustle this business requires in order to stay safe, efficient, profitable, and professional when dealing with customers.

I was surprised by how much they decorate the interior and the exterior of this place. They definitely take pride in this business.

They offer a ton of other snacks as well, but to my understanding the coffee products are the only things made in house.

I don't know if I will be making a return visit here, but I have been always curious what a laundry café would look like and operate.

I recommend this spot if you need to simultaneously drink coffee and do a wash.

199 eateries and cafés are now complete as Vernon's most ambitious project continues.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I have come here on more than one occasion and each time I have been accosted by the staff. They question why I need change for the laundry machines as well as supervising what I do when I try to use the machines. This normally wouldn't be a problem if the staff weren't incredibly rude and pushy. I don't mind staying at the laundromat while my clothing is getting washed, however, I should not have to argue with staff about sitting in my car. I should also not have to argue with staff about getting change. Today I had to argue that I needed three machines and they would only give me change for one until I showed them that I had the laundry. This is invasive. Incredibly invasive. The staff is also constantly in your personal space bubble. This should be remedied, especially because it's flu season. This place is incredibly uncomfortable. The previous owners were great when I visited this laundromat in previous years. I will not go to this laundromat again.
Edited after the owners response: I came with my white friend who didn't experience the same treatment as me, an indigenous woman. We also watched the employee acost another indigenous woman while leaving all of the white patrons alone. If that is what you think of as your employees doing a fantastic job I pity you as a person. In case anyone has gotten this far into my review- I would like to say go to b and d laundromat instead. John is wonderful and there is no blatant racism towards customers! Plus he stayed open a little later for us so we could dry our laundry that we ended up removing from aloha while still wet just to escape the yelling! Can't recommend b and d enough! Don't go to aloha and waste your money when b and d is cheaper, more pleasant and less racist!

Awesome!
Still great.
More large capacity washers and dryers.

Worst place i have ever experienced. The manager/owner is unprofessional she watches everyone and has no problem approaching people as soon as they walk up to a washer to give you the rules. She peeks around corners to make sure your following the rules. I spoke to others while there and she is always like this rude and disrespectful to people. She also over charges most places 4 dollars a double load not her 5 dollars. She also wants you to pay for a 12 dollar washer but will only allow 1 blanket smh any other laundromat you can put 2 to 3 in a quadriplet load its a rip off!!

EDIT: as per owner response below if he had read the sentence properly i said a quad load 12 dollar washer i blanket for 12 dollars is unacceptable. Being helpful is one thing acting like a drill sargent is completely different we can read the huge black marker written on each machine. Maybe you should tell your manager that pissing people off is not helping your business try adressing the issue because i see other reviews with the same issues!!

Spotless clean well run laundromat with a snack bar & beverages in addition to laundry supplies. Indoor & outdoor seating areas. A great laundry experience.

We are in town visiting family and came into the facility just before 4:30 with a blanket my turdlers had dirtied at their aunts. They were super friendly, accommodatingand allowed me to use the washroom. Very patient with the fact i had a three and one year old with me during this adventure who were running a muck in the facility leaving a crumb trail that we offered to clean but they politely declined and said they'd handle it after. I am very grateful for this establishment and the generous staff
