Happy to have visited my mom's favourite Chinese restaurant while visiting in Vernon. Our experienced server, Sebastian, treated us like gold. His French is excellent and I was happy to discuss with him the history of how the Vital 4 changed to the 4 ACTS.

It's pretty ironic and perhaps a reflection of rural Canada in comparison to other countries that food prices (both grocery and restaurants) in small cities like Vernon are actually higher than in big cities and with worse quality by a significant margin. I ordered hot and sour soup and beef chow fun and the price tag was $50+ (with tips). The beef chow fun was such a disappointment despite being the most common dish in any Chinese establishment. This is one of my favorite restaurants rather expensive but for a treat it is great. the food is always very hot when they bring it and it is really good I think it is made from scratch not from a package at least that's what it tastes like.
