I want to like this place. It’s local and convenient. However, both times I’ve been, I’ve been disappointed. We went for Easter brunch and didn’t bother to ask the cost. At the end our bill, for 2 people, was around $90 for the 2 brunches and nothing else. The food was ok but nothing fantastic. I would’ve rather spent the money on a couple of good steaks at an upscale restaurant.
Prime rib was delicious, good portions, excellent more intimate atmosphere - terrific to enable conversation without having to yell over loud music with our reserved table for 6. Our guests had the Prime Rib & the fish n chips. All were very satisfied with presentation, prompt service, their recommended house wine and the food flavour except one minor issue. The Caesar salad should have had homemade croutons or better ones - lacklustre but enjoyed the sweet pea shoots....
