I tried C-Lovers for the first time last night. I moved to Vernon from Nova Scotia 2 1/2 years ago and have been missing good haddock ever since. Their haddock fully satisfied my cravings and gave me a little taste of home! I've never seen such a thin breading, but it was *amazing* and allows the focus to be on the fish itself! Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, great portions, good fries + gravy. Also couldn't believe how quickly I got my food after ordering. Thank you for offering incredible fish and chips :-)
Service was great and food was excellent. Been coming here for years and doesn't disappoint. Could be very busy during dinner specially on weekends.

When you go in to order take out and are totally ignored by the staff for 10 minutes....even the one wandering around who was at the till when I got there and then your order is taken with a grand total of 6 words in 2 sentences you dont get left a tip. So pop that nasty look back in your pocket Hun.

Nothing good to share about the meals we had. The portion size was small the halibut was not much bigger than a deck of cards. The cod I ordered looked like a cigar and was half cooked and sent back. the replacement was the same but cooked a little longer. The piece cod my wife had was cooked ok but size small didnt even look like a fillet . We opted for the ceaser salad hardly a couple of mouth fulls. we ordered the onion rings for appy and mostly good but one ring of mine was the outer skin of the onion. the service one had to ask even to get spoons to add honey to our tea. The price for what we got was way over priced. The whole price was only worth a third of what we paid. We will never set foot in that place ever again. Would never reccomend to anyone. Over all a total dissapointment.

Absolutely terrible service. Understaffed and extremely poorly mamaged (the waitresses should not have to run the till when it is busy.) Don't order the all you can eat unless you have LOTS of time.

I used to love this place and the all you can eat fish n chips heck even worjed here at one point but today I just got the last meal I will ever buy from clovers! the fry cook after getting my order took ten minutes and still didn' throw on my order.... the waitress had to remind her to deal with the tickect, thefish arived uncooked batter and rubbery fish, the fry cook I watchednot even wash hands properly just rinsed with water.... had to run to puke it was the worste fish ever had sad very sad the state of this resturant now! eat at your own risk to health folks not joking its no longer food safe if you just rinse hands basic food safety is neglected.

We search for fish and chips shops whilst we were in vernon bc. This restaurant c-lovers came up. We'll I'm glad it did very clean excellent staff and a good cook. The fish was just right not soggy or over done. The fry chips actually had real potato inside. The price was well withing acceptable range. I would 100% advise people to try them out. Bunch of local yocals so it's gotta be good! Fish batter is light and crispy and they offer cod, haddock, halibut, and salmon. Service was awesome and atmosphere is down to earth and wholesome. It's straight up traditional fish and chips without any pretense or trendiness. Awesome!

The person who took our order over the phone (pick up) sounded like she wanted to be anywhere but there and acted the same when we arrived. But the folks who packaged everything up in front of us were great! They explained where everything was within the various bags and ensures we had what we needed. Food was as expected and I actually don't know how the chicken strips we ordered for one of the kids ended up smelling the best out of everything?
