Worst service i have experienced in a long time, no extra food or drinks, all you can eat. Told the waitress I have been waiting 20 mins for 2 peices of fish and the service is pretty bad. I was told if I didn't like it go somewhere else so believe me next time I will and I will be telling everyone I know to spend your money elsewhere. Pathetic.

Tried this place out with a friend and damn. We decided to split a $40 platter that comes with fries, onion rings, prawns and fish. The only good thing about it was the portion size, I guess. I immediately regretted our decision once I saw it arrive. Horrible presentation first of all, and just pure grease and too much batter on everything. It did not go down well and it did not stay down well, either. We had to end our night early because of some upset stomachs. It was freezing inside and tables and floors were so dirty when we arrived and it was not busy at all.

the fish batter had no flavour i would highly recommend even adding salt or pepper so it doesn’t taste so bland. the malt vinegar had been watered down so much that you could barely taste it. i lightly added it to my fries and fish and couldn’t really taste it and then added more and even the color itself was faint. i would not go back there again because it was pretty bland and flavourless. for 80$ i would expect there to be seasoning on something and the condiments being real and not 90% water.

I tried C-Lovers for the first time last night. I moved to Vernon from Nova Scotia 2 1/2 years ago and have been missing good haddock ever since. Their haddock fully satisfied my cravings and gave me a little taste of home! I've never seen such a thin breading, but it was *amazing* and allows the focus to be on the fish itself! Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, great portions, good fries + gravy. Also couldn't believe how quickly I got my food after ordering. Thank you for offering incredible fish and chips :-)
When you go in to order take out and are totally ignored by the staff for 10 minutes....even the one wandering around who was at the till when I got there and then your order is taken with a grand total of 6 words in 2 sentences you dont get left a tip. So pop that nasty look back in your pocket Hun.

Nothing good to share about the meals we had. The portion size was small the halibut was not much bigger than a deck of cards. The cod I ordered looked like a cigar and was half cooked and sent back. the replacement was the same but cooked a little longer. The piece cod my wife had was cooked ok but size small didnt even look like a fillet . We opted for the ceaser salad hardly a couple of mouth fulls. we ordered the onion rings for appy and mostly good but one ring of mine was the outer skin of the onion. the service one had to ask even to get spoons to add honey to our tea. The price for what we got was way over priced. The whole price was only worth a third of what we paid. We will never set foot in that place ever again. Would never reccomend to anyone. Over all a total dissapointment.
