We had a large group of 17 people at this absolutely terrific venue choice for our Mother’s 80th Birthday celebration. The private area that was set up for our group was perfect. The staff went above and beyond by setting some decorations and extra wide tables so that it was easy to see everyone and converse. The noise volume in that area was quiet for a restaurant and therefore very enjoyable for all. Especially some who are noise sensitive. All the tropical plants make the ambiance feel as though you are on vacation somewhere beautiful. The staff were very efficient and there as needed but not noticed. The food came out piping hot and all received at about the same timing, which would be a difficult task but they did it perfectly. Each dinner item ordered was thoroughly enjoyed by all and we did have some big eaters in the group who were very satisfied with the portions. The rest took a box home. I grew up going to this restaurant and it was always one of my favorite. I heard that around 15 years ago it wasn’t so good. Whatever changes were made were the correct ones because our experience was outstanding!! I will be coming back each time I’m in Vernon.

Don’t waste your time here, no matter how hungry you are! The food is absolutely inedible.They didn’t even do anything about it and we ended up paying and just left back to our rooms. UPDATE ** Ended up getting really sick not fun.

As a group of 6, we had a wonderful lunch experience. The service was friendly and attentive. The menu items we ordered came in a very timely way. The quality of our food was very delicious and was tastefully presented.
I personally found the Smoked Brisket Sandwich to be vey flavourful.
The setting of the restaurant in the courtyard of the Vernon Lodge was relaxing. You could forget where you were in terms of the location and weather. The fact a stream runs through the restaurant is an interesting feature. It would be interesting eating a meal when there is heavier runoff.
I highly recommend this restaurant when in Vernon.

Our server was wonderful, she is the manager there her name was Cesia, fast & efficient & friendly! Food was most excellent! We were there for our sons 50th Birthday , we had 19 people total & we all fit around the table, it was decorated with a birthday theme. Thank you Staff for a great night out, all the staff was friendly and made you feel so welcome 😊

Haileigh was our sever tonight, and she was the best I’ve ever had. Thank you for allowing our first experience to be so memorable! My husband and I had the steak, and it was so incredibly delicious that Haileigh brought Chef Jason out so we could thank him for making such a delicious steak. I can honestly say it was the best steak I’ve ever enjoyed. Thank you both for the experience, I genuinely cannot wait to return!

We had a nice dinner here but the breakfast was not so great. I had avocado toast. The avocados were very over ripe, the melon garnish was pale and under ripe, and the bread is not great. Also, Tabasco is a terrible hot sauce. Please get Franks, Cholula, or Valentina’s! The atmosphere and service was amazing.

Attentive and personable service from Shayan, in our 6 person group, everyone was happy with their meal (and we all ordered something different), the atmosphere is lovely, where else are you surrounded by tall trees and a creek? Only complaint is that the menu is now compressed onto one page and is such a small font that it is about impossible to read.

This is a dining experience that has exceptional service. They accommodate you as much as possible with the most polite people. The food was absolutely delicious. It did not disappoint in any way. I have worked in this industry as a pastry chef and pastry chef de partie I charge of dining rooms myself. This is an absolute pure dining pleasure. This will always be on my go to list and it should be yours as well

me and my friend came in when they had a 50 people party, darryl was amazing still let us order our food with drinks waiting. Let us sit there and eat and got our take out all ready. We loved the experience and the gnocchi was 10000/10 as always. Will be back every dinner night out!!
