“I want to give a shout out to Arielle, A server at Cactus Club in Vernon BC. We were a table of older folks who had multiple food allergies to accommodate. Not only did Arielle behave as though that was only to be expected she did not make us feel uncomfortable about our multiple requests. Each time she stopped at the table it was like we were interacting with a favorite niece. Of course the food was great, it always is.“

“I'm here to lay down the law and admit my own personal failure. I'm giving Earls five stars, and if you're like me and have lived here forever but never stepped foot inside, listen up.
I've been a resident of this town my entire life, and for some reason I have just never been inside this place. I don't know what kind of mental block I had, but it's clear now that I've been actively avoiding something great. I thought it was just some generic chain restaurant, but I was so, so wrong.
Turns out, this place is actually very classy. The vibe is on point. And the food? Oh man, It's absolutely delicious. I'm talking top-tier stuff. My entire life has been a lie, and Earls has called me out on it. I just don't know what my problem's been. What was I doing with my time? Eating garbage, apparently.
So if you're still on the outside looking in, stop being a coward. Get in there and get some good food. Don't be like me. Don't be a fool.“

“Cheese Louise, finally a good pizza joint in V-Dot... it's 'bout GD thyme! This sweet new spot draws on local colours and ingredients, blended with tradition and class. The menu is as easy to digest as the dough, (which, by the way, ferments over 18 hrs and therefore does all the heavy lifting for your microbiome). It's called sourdough. You're welcome. The pizza oven is super legit and burns as hot as this review, cooking that beautiful creation in 90 smouldering seconds. Speaking of seconds, you'll want some, so be hungry. And be thirsty! Perfectly balanced cocktails are served up with a smile and a local twist on some traditional favourites. Want blueberries and pine needles in yer drank? You bet. I'll probably just start forwarding Masiero 10% of my pay 'cause I'll be back. Often. But don't worry, the prices are fair. Don't confuse cost with value, young Jedi. They will know my name, but I won't scribble my initials on the tables 'cause the decor is on point and the atmosphere is fire.“
