Most awesome chocolate ever
The chocolates are amazing! The only downside I noticed is the use of plastic bag containers. I suggest using paper bags or other sustainable materials instead. Next time, I will bring a container.
I love this local chocolate store, not only is it so delicious and high quality but the people who work there are very kind and sweet. A family occasion is never complete without cottons chocolate, we always celebrate with the chocolate dipped sour keys, the Swedish berries and the popcorn and chocolate covered oeros are an absolute must! Holidays aren’t the same without it.
If you love chocolate or are curious, give this place a try! It is a true gem and we are lucky to have it in Vernon.
Absolutely amazing and creative goodies from our local chocolatier! You will not find better treats in town and the owner is the sweetest human you could ever meet! Stop in to grab a few goodies for your significant other and they will show some serious appreciation 😉 she also offers chocolate doing classes for all ages and I highly recommend you check it out for a super fun date night or fun time in general
Attended cottons(barritas) valentines day chocolate class. What an amazing experience for my girlfriend and I. Barrita has such a bubbling and loving personality and is a great teacher. The class was a great deal and we left with a big bag of chocolate along with an unforgettable memory.
Would recommend to anyone, as there is beginner intermediate and up classes.
Incredible chocolate and lovely people ❤️

It's nice that there are a lot of different types to choose from, and it's nice that it's not too sweet. Where to go again to buy chocolate

This was my 186th eatery in Vernon.
The rocky road cookie was really good. Rocky road ice cream is my favourite ice cream flavour so I knew it'd be a home run.
I paid $10.50 for a vegan peanut butter cup and rocky road cookie. It was well worth it.
I love the decorations in here. I wonder if anyone has ever bought those chocolate statues.
186 eateries in Vernon are now crossed off my list. The culinary adventure continues.

Restaurantji Recommends
Went in today after school with a friend (I’ve personally never been to cottons before), and it was likely the best experience I have ever had downtown. When we came into the store a lady who to my knowledge is the owner greeted us kindly, and we began to look around. We asked questions about some of the chocolates and she answered in full detail. She even gave us free samples without us even asking. The chocolates themselves are packaged and displayed nicely, but taste even better. I would 100% recommend this place to anybody and everybody.

Chocolates are very good however I am disappointed when I go there and they are not open. Hours of operation states on the door but doors are locked. Been there twice and even tried calling and no reply. How do you run a business like this? I will take my business somewhere else.

The best creamy decadent chocolates I have ever had. And I am a chocolate lover. Husband brought back to Ontario from a ski trip.
We did the chocolate making class and it was amazing. Barrita is an absolute gem.
