I just found out from a previous delivery driver that Golden Crown does not pay their delivery drivers. They offer them minimal $$ in gas to do a delivery. so the delivery drivers rely on people to tip them on their orders to even make a wage and or get paid . The price of gas and and what they give their drivers for a delivery is ridiculous. I reiterate, they do not pay their drivers a wage only pay for their gas so if you’re going to order from the Golden Crown restaurant please tip your delivery driver because if you don’t tip on the order, they don’t make any money pretty sad for a well-known restaurant in Vernon. I believe he went to skip the dishes, because at least he gets paid per order and per mileage

I was at the Golden Crown New Year's Eve and the food and service were excellent even with them being very busy.

I had the meal for one and was slightly disappointed with the meal and available choices. As I single person, I too crave variety in my meals. The food here is consistently tasty and well prepared. Thus the four-star reviews. I have been in the kitchen here and can testify to its cleanliness and their food preparation procedures. Very impressive compared to other kitchens I have been in. I will no doubt continue to use this as a source for Asian foods as long as the ownership continues

This is a sort of decent Chinese restaurant in Vernon but definitely not the top of the pack. Decent amount of food for the price. Takes about 40 min for delivery though and I'm 5 min away
We grabbed take out but the 2 girls we talked to working were very nice and the place looked clean. Food was yummy and sizes for 5 fed 6 of us and had leftovers

Might actually be the worst take out I’ve had, certainly in recent memory. Portions were great but it’s bad when nobody eating it can tell if it’s chicken or pork… my kids will eat just about anything, they didn’t eat this. I really don’t like giving bad reviews but this meal was very very disappointing indeed

The food was awful..the sweet and sour pork was inedible, as were the deep fried prawns..they were over-fried and tough..we couldn't eat any of them. The chow main tasted burned. It's the last time that we'll order from them..very disappointed.. *The restaurant called back after this review and apologized..they sent out replacement meals right away..the food was excellent this time..thank-you very much*
