A great high end restaurant in Vernon. The ambiance was enhanced by the live guitarist and the staff were wonderful. The Moroccan Rack of Lamb was excellent and I'd highly recommend it. The cheese cake was the better of the two desserts although the main outshined them all.

This gem has been around for decades & yet this was my first time. My parents used to do date nights here in the 80s. Intermezzo has always had a great reputation but I always thought it was too fancy & expensive for just a casual dinner. We took my parents there for my Dad’s birthday this week. Reservations were available short notice & we had the best reception & service. Ambience is so nice… the live music was superb. The food… ?? (chef’s kiss). Worth every penny!

Felt like hanging out with family - a really awesome environment!Our server was so incredible, espec. with our nearly 2 year old (he was smitten for her too ;) ) she always took time to never rush away and was very attentive to our table of 5 adults.Wine recommendation & Food recommendation was top tier.Food was delicious, no detail was left undone, flavors were a wonderful trip throughout our course of the evening.First timers & already planning next visit happy hour: 3-5 DAILY??!! - uhm yes!!The prices are very spot on (if not even less than expected!) Beyond 5 star IMO.Tasted:-Halibut - unreal, thick delicate buttery, risotto cooked perfectly, nice and hot, Asparagus al dente *already craving it again-Seafood medley - a huge portion of pasta with nice mix of all the ocean, not overly saucy allowing everything to sing-Moroccan Lamb - exquisite flavor burst (yes, I need to buy the spice they use *they sell it!) Cooked to perfection 2 chops not chewy in the slightest-Bocconcini Pasta - hugely delicious lots of meat with great flavor-Creme Brule Dessert - bday surprise treat & legit the best we've ever tasted! Was an amazing dining experience. The atmosphere was perfect. My wife had the filet mignon and I had the halibut and both meals were the best we have ever had. The creme brulee was done beautifully. I will be going back and would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I took my wife here for Valentine's day, with our other couple friends.She ordered the saffron scallop and prawn. She also made sure to let them know she has a dairy allergy. She found the dish incredibly disappointing. It lacked flavour, the sauce was just olive oil and black pepper. It was missing the scallops. We told our waiter and he brought two tiny scallops to the table. Then said "they're on the house", umm I would hope so! They were supposed to be in the dish. They also forgot the saffron, another key ingredient in the dish. The waiter offered to bring my wife some balsamic vinegar and oil for her bread and didn't remember it till he brought out the bill. I definitely don't recommend intermezzo. It's overhyped for the lack of quality.
