I have been coming to Kiki Gardens for nearly 40 years. In all my time, dining at Kiki Gardens and eating their delicious Chinese food, I do not believe there has been a change of ownership, other than that of retirement. The elderly chinese cook here is amazingly talented as their food is always very delicious.I am sad to see. They could not reopen their smorgasboard offering since covid 19. Government health rules. Kiki Gardens smorgas board was the best I have ever eaten. . . . anywhere! ?Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable choices to choose from.Dietary restrictions: The soups and pastas. Are great and they will customize your order for you.Kid-friendliness: There are large round tables and you can bring a huge family to dine in here. Just call ahead to allow them to prepare your table for you! ?Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Kiki Gardens was my 125th restaurant in Vernon. My friend and I had our quarterly lunch date.I had Shanghai Noodles which were delicious.I can't comment on the cost as my friend paid for the meal. The chef came out to verify my friend was fine with specific ingredients in her wor won ton soup because of her recent dental procedure.Overall, it was yet another delicious meal in Vernon.125 restaurants down; 25 restaurants to go.Vegetarian options: Shanghai Noodles, Chop Suey

Since the pandemic THIS has become my family's favourite restaurant for Chinese Food. The food tastes exceptional. Can't get enough of it. Also doesn't appear to be as greasy or overly seasoned with MSG as some places. Highly recommend their food. You won't be disappointed

I had the lunch special (a little bit of chicken chow mein, almond chicken, and sweet and sour chicken), and it was unfortunately the blandest, most disappointing American/Canadian-Chinese I've ever eaten. The chicken in each selection seemed unseasoned and tasteless, the noodles stone cold, almost no sweetness or sourness or almond flavor. Even the oil was cold and bland, somehow. The waitress deserved the food's share of the bill, because she was trying and the food had given up. Wish I had gone back to Suda's next door instead, with their generous servings and flavor. Here, it almost seems like portions, seasoning (forget salt, let alone wondrous MSG), and care have all been aggressively cut to bring up a bottom line.

Ordered for the first time tonight after moving here.Three dishes and two soups for a STEEP $100.I expected a feast when I heard the total...I was utterly disappointed. Two servings of wonton soup for $20? Sweet and sour pork for $18 that tasted absolutely terrible. Just a boatload of sugary sortof orange sortof brow sauce.Nothing sour about it. Awful after-taste.Everything else was incredibly blandAnd portions were tiny. Containers werent even full. I will never return here. The owner should be ashamed to call that food.I want my money back, thief.
